I have a 100 set of these lights around my pond but decided to get the 300 for some extra display. Very happy with the result. Had to go through the take batteries out and start via socket to get them going but after that solar panel only and charges up excellently.

These are the absolute best. They cover a small tree in my front garden and look wonderful. I love that you can charge them indoors in winter too.

Nice finish to the Greenhouse
My wife wanted these lights after reading all the good reviews, This is the finishing touch to the new Greenhouse. They are very bright and a nice touch. My only reason for not giving 5*s is the batteries are rubbish. Buy your own & they work first time. Otherwise very impressed.

Decided to buy these after reading the reviews. Thought they were quite expensive but wanted a decent set of lights for my pergola. Found them a bit fiddly to begin with, but with the help of the excellent customer services team they were soon up and running. Wow! So bright and look fantastic ... husband thought I'd brought electric lights. Well worth every penny and will definitely be buying more.

we've had cheap versions in the past but these really make them 'pale' into the background. Very long, so managed to take it up the tree-trunk and it now acts as a beacon in our village. Will buy more for other trees.

Review the Everbright Solar Fairy Lights - White 300 LEDs
What's the difference between the old Everbrights and the new ones?
We have fundamentally improved the design, reliability, performance and price of the new Everbrights.
We have moved away from the old design where the solar panel and control box were two separate units. The new Everbright solar panel and control box are combined into one unit. This state of the art design makes the unit much lighter and much more waterproof.
Everbright’s are now USB chargeable which means you can use them inside your home as well as outside. USB also gives you the option to fully charge your lights in time for a party or special occasion if the weather has let you down.
The old Everbrights had a specialist sealed battery pack which was not commonly available and tricky to access. The new Everbrights use standard AA rechargeable batteries which are available in all supermarkets and can be replaced in under a minute without so much as a screwdriver.
Our new innovative Multi-Mount Installation System gives you the option to set up your Everbrights in virtually any location that gets good access to sunlight including your lawn, decking, fence, trellis, wall or roof.
The new Everbrights come with 2 extra modes so there are now 8 modes to choose from instead of 6. We've also made 'constant on' the first mode as this is the most popular mode based on customer feedback.
Although incredibly reliable, there was a rare fault which affected the buttons on small number of old Everbright units. The new Everbrights use a much simpler and more reliable push switch mechanism which has completely fixed this issue.
Now for the really good news! We have reduced the price of the new Everbrights considerably. A new set of 50 LEDs (5 metres) will cost you £19.99 which is £10 less than the old sets of Everbright 50 LEDs. The 100 LEDs (10 metres) have also been reduced by £10 to £29.99. We couldn't bring the cost down on the 280 LED bulb set (28 metres) but we have added 20 extra bulbs to 300 bulbs (30 metres) and kept the price the same at £69.99.
What are the advantages of Everbright Solar Fairy Lights Vs mains powered fairy lights?
We believe Everbright Solar Fairy Lights are better than mains powered LED lights for the following reasons:
- Quick, simple and safe to install
- Self sufficient so you can put them anywhere there is light
- Safer than mains powered fairy lights
- No operating costs unlike mains powered lights
- Turn on and off automatically using an advanced light sensor
- They are environmentally friendly unlike mains powered fairy lights
- Back-up USB charging capability giving you the best of both worlds

How it works
During the day the sun's rays charge the two rechargeable AA batteries inside the Everbright's solar panel module. After dark the charge stored in the batteries power the lights. In the morning the lights turn off automatically and charge up again ready for the night ahead. The Everbrights are fully automatic so you don’t need to turn them on and off each night, but you can operate them manually if you like.
The new Everbrights also have a back-up USB charging capability. Simply disconnect the fairy light string and take the solar panel module inside where you can use the supplied USB charging cable to fully charge your Everbrights via your computer. If you don’t have a computer you can always use a USB Mains Adaptor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Unless i am mistaken the 300 Led's use the same batteries as the 100 version but both last the same amount of time in use, is this correct?
By Brad Spanner on Aug 28, 2014
The batteries and solar panel specifications are slightly larger for the larger sets of lights like the 300 LEDs.
can you supply these lights in 'soft' white? Thanks
By susannah burke on Aug 7, 2014
There is a warm white option
We have Solarcentre White 280 LED /28m lights - Several bulbs are not lighting.
The batter has marking A 20000S*3.
What is the likely problem?
Many thanks.Pat Ryan - 5th August 2014.
By Pat Ryan on Aug 5, 2014
Please contact the office to talk to one of our friendly team about your fairy lights.
Do the bulbs hang from protruding strands off the main wire or are they just slightly proud of the wire and if so do you have any that hang in strands, need this type as want to push them into glass bottles for lighting up a raised flower bed!
By Jenny Knight on Jun 24, 2014
The LED bulbs protrude slight off the main wire. The lights would look great in glass bottles and with the solar panel elsewhere to get the sunshine.
What is the distance between each bulb please. I have a fence with glass marbles in it and would like to light each marble from behind. Thanks.
By Jill Symes on Jun 24, 2014
There is 10 LEDs per meter each with equal spacing. This is roughly 10cm.
How bright are these lights? I'm looking for a solar powered LED strip to add enough light underneath a large umbrella to allow visiability to the people underneath. Would this suit what I want?
By Will on May 21, 2014
Yes. This set would give out an ample amount of light. You could also use the 10meter sets but the amount of light would be less.
How long is the cable in total
By John & Gayle on May 15, 2014
32m in total. 2m from the solar panel to the first light and then 30m of lights.
If a a bulb goes do the remainder continue to work?
By Simon & Julia Matthews on Feb 6, 2014
As these are LEDs it would be very unusual if one was to "go". LED lights are designed to last and not "blow" like an ordinary household light would. If there's an LED not working it's more likely be a break in the wire. The other lights will not work if the wire is broken.
Will the controller power up to the same mode night after night? i.e. Can I just set to "Allways ON" on day one and they will always be "Allways ON" every night
By Heiko on Jan 23, 2014
Yes, the controller works exactly as you have described in your question.
