Very prompt delivery - before the date given. Charging of batteries took less time than stated. Generous amount of flex for varied positions of lights. Lights very easily adjusted. They throw a good beam of light and light up my silver birch quite magically.
Only down side - after it rained, one of the lights is not totally waterproof and moisure is still inside lens but it doesn't seem to have affected the light.

I love these lights! When the electric spotlights gave out in my garden I bought some solar ones to replace them. They were next to useless but luckily my money was refunded without quibble and I tried these instead. What an improvement! Unlike the first lights I chose, these don't waste energy coming on before dusk and when there has been a fair amount of sun on the solar panel they are good and clear in showing up my water feature. When there has been sun all day they are still going well when I go to bed about midnight (I feel quite reluctant to leave them when they are still giving out so much!) Obviously on an overcast day there is not such a good display but still enough to enjoy a few hours of energy. Very pleased with these lights.

Really happy with these lights. We've used one to light up a dark footpath in our back garden and the other to use as a floodlight for our pond (which looks great at night).
Easy to set up, the light output is very good considering their small size, with sufficient cable length for our needs. They were charged within the first day or two of putting out the solar panel. We like the idea that the angle of each light can be easily adjusted.
We used the ground spikes instead of the wall brackets. As the ground spikes are plastic they may struggle in hard ground.
The product was packaged well with easy-to-follow instructions.
We bought some other larger Solar Centre flood lights in the past, so knew these would be of the same good quality.

After having bought a number of other solar light I thought it was a given that they would be very weak and only able to light very short distances. After half a day of charging on a cloudy day I was very surprised to se the lights being almost torch strength. This combined with robust construction gives me a great first impression. I will be purchasing another set shortly

First thing you notice is the fact these lights are really well made. None of that this-will-break-within-a-month cheap plastic fittings. No, these light heads are made of metal, they come with metal wall mounts and good sturdy feeling plastic ground spikes all of which have a well made feel to them.
It says you need a 3 days charge but ours worked fine after just a day or so in the sun. The lights themselves are LEDs and give a surprisingly bright light, quite similar to a good high powered LED torch.
The on off switch is at the back of the solar panel but the lights turn on and off at night themselves so it is only if you want to keep them off do you need to get to the panel - something you might want to consider when deciding where to place the solar panel. Despite what another reviewer said I found the wires clicked together easily - they need to be a good fit to avoid water entering but it certainly wasn't an issue pushing them together...
Overall I was and still am very impressed with the lights.

These lights are brilliant. They produce enough light to make wiring up your garden ( an expensive business) unnecessary - though we do live in Portugal. I have bought, recently, other solar lights which were also extremely good, but these ones have the added advantage of a separate solar panel which makes placing them far easier - as they can be in the shade and the panel in the sun. You do need quite a lot of them though - we have them all around the pool terrace. The only problem with having lots of solar lights is that, if you want to switch them off to float in the pool star gazing ( as I often do !) - you have to do it on each light....... Also, as you don't need an electrician and more cabling, there is an enormous temptation to keep buying more and more (we have fairy lights in the olive trees and spotlights on special plants) which gets quite pricey !

A few weeks ago I purchased a Thea spotlighht to illuminate a sculpture in the garden. I allowed 3 days for the battery to charge and when I switched it on was very pleased with the effect. So much so that I purchased another to light the waterfall over the garden pond. We have been so impressed, especially after poor performance from "superstore" products that we have just bought the Seline twin lamps with cable from Solar Centre. Ordered at 3 pm Thursday, delivered 11.30am Friday. In addition, there was a discount available and as a repeat order they waived the carriage charge. I shall look forward to switching these on after they are fully charged. Very impressed with products and company.Selene Solar Landscape Spotlights

Admittedly, I live in a pretty sunny country and solar products work well, but the power and life of these lights was still a surprise. The construction seems pretty robust too.

What a First-Class Product
Most impressed the quality of the product and the brightness of the lights. It does exactly as it says on the box and to be able to adjust the lights to any angle instead of preset positions. With just a little consideration of where to put the solar panel I set the lights up highlighting a flowering cherry tree, the results were so spectacular that even my next door neighbours were impressed that they thought they were mains powered.

Good to find metallic fittings for the lamps for once. May be these will survive the winds and rain and cold that we experience at a height of 200m!
The wall/fence fittings are similar in construction but the pegs are plastic. The latter is not an issue for me as the lamps are to fence mounted.
I found making the electrical connection between the panel and the lights tricky. It is a push fit and requires some push and a little lubrication but once completed it looks as if it will last and be waterproof.
The lights are powerful and provide good coverage given a reasonable height. Be aware of the limited length of cable when planning the layout. 5m from the panel for each lamp is reasonable.
One reservation: What was the energy cost of the manufacture and distribution of this product? Great not to have to connect to the mains!

Excellent product, the instructions advised a 3 day charge period however the lights worked perfectly in my lightwell area on the first night. You can place the small solar panel in an area of light and there is about a 3-5m lead wire to the lights themselves, which can therefore be placed at the bottom of my lightwell area (with the panel on the path above).I found that the brightness is very close to, but not quite at, the brightness of a non solar light (which was actually the effect I was looking for) and I was pleasantly surprised by this. It is great not having to remember to switch them on or off! Definitely recommend purchase.

I purchased three sets of the landscape lights having previoulsy purchased other products from The Solar Centre and I am once again very impressed.
They light up my garden well into the early hours of the morning and during the summer provide light all the way through the night.
One of the other reviews said that the output was poor and they took 5 days to charge, my experience has been exactly the opposite. They charged very quickly and the output is excellent.
I have purchased other solar lights for my garden and outside use, but the ones from The Solar Centre are by far and away the best.
I would highly recommend this product.

These are excellent solar light and represent good value. We live in Greece and needed lights outside on our gates where there is not an electricity supply. After they arrived we did not have any sun during the few days they take to initially charge, but when we turned them on we were most impressed with the light they gave off. They will be brilliant here in the summer and we may well buy another set for further up the drive.

Ther spotlights arrived (from abroad) very quickly. They were easy to assemble and worked straight away with a much stroonger light than I expected so I was delighted. Tehy continue to light up a tree in my garden at night. I would buy another set if they were on amazon again.
