Yes you can the batteries will work for half as long as they would with a 50 LED String if you are not worried about have the lights on every night then this is an option

Can I attach more the one length to my control box?
You will be able to in the near future but dont forget the more lights on the more charge is drained from the battery so the lights wont last as long.
