0 | 0 I leave reviews after a while to make sure the product is reliable, I bought this a year ago. It's very bright and still charges well during darker winter months. Highly recommended for anyone that doesn't want to connect floodlights to the mains.

3 | 0 I've had 2 of these for nearly a year now and these lights are excellent. I have them on my garage wall to light my driveway and they're bright and clear. The PIR sensor can be adjusted for sensitivity both in terms of daylight and distance as well as angled One of my lights developed a fault after about 9 months. I contacted Solar Centre and they replaced the light for me.

3 | 0 Lights up the whole garden beautifully. i have positioned the panel as best as I can - in fact installed on a pole just above the rood. Hoping that it will indeed work as well in the winter months. Very well made & robust from metal - not the cheap plastic rubbish which I have tried before. Battery attached to light is a good size. It was obvious from when it arrived, that the charging should be better than the cheaper lights, when you see the size of the separate solar panel.

5 | 0 I bought two of these to light my driveway in front of my garage and they've been up for a week. In the past, I've always found Solar lights to be disappointing in their brightness and range but not these! They are very bright and light up the area as well as a 100W mains powered security light would. Installation and set up was hassle free and these lights are working great.

1 | 0 I have 3 of these and they have worked well for over a year. One of them has started to glow all the time, night and day. It still switches on in response to its movement detector, and switches off after a minute or two. But why does it glow? I'm about to buy a 4th light.

5 | 0 Delay in getting access to install so limited in review response but have purchased solar lights from the Solar centre before and will purchase in the future when the need arises. Flying debris damaged the sensor on a previous purchase, when I tried to buy a replacement I was sent a newer version with no charge.

5 | 0 Well made but controls a little bit fiddly. Main complaint is that the LED light glass is clear, thus the LED's are quite glaring and uncomfortable on the eyes as they are a point source of light. Have fitted film over the glass to diffuse the light.

6 | 7 Bought this as unable to get an electrician during lockdown so thought Solar would be great as can fit ourselves. The solar panel is large and a bit ugly but does the job and the light is really strong so good for security. The wire from the panel to the light is huge which means the solar panel can be placed somewhere more discreet.

5 | 0 Nice solid and robust construction. Solar Panel is the largest I have had for solar lighting and the power of the light is very good. Although the light is weatherproof, I have located it in a sheltered position. When you first turn it on in daylight, after a few days of charging, the light comes on and seems to cycle "through the gears" and then eventually switches off. Comes on again after dark. Foxed me a bit to begin with.

I replaced it with the same and am really pleased with it. Easy to install and very effective. Reliable even after some really non sunny days.

2 | 3 I purchased this light to come on with the PIR under a patio canopy / cover situated immediately outside my back door with the assistance of the 5m cable to solar panel and I am so pleased with its setup and performance. I've actually used a second 5m cable in order to get a better south facing position for the panel and the diminished strength of the light due to the second cable is unnoticeable.. Now with the aid of two “wedges” strategically placed at different distances away from my back door we / the dog get “lit up” wherever there is movement. Highly recommended.

0 | 0 This light is amazing, I have wanted security lights in my back garden for a while but didn't want to have to pay for mains outdoor lighting to be installed. I ordered 2 lights, they were so easy to put up, after leaving them to charge for 4 days, I switched them on and I can't believe how bright they are. They are brilliant, easy to set and very efficient. I have recommended them to my friends and work colleagues. Even better they had £20 off each light.

2 | 0 Wow, what an amazing light, not cheap but worth every penny. Pre-ordered before Christmas and got it nest day when they came back in stock early in January. Left it to charge for 3 days and then turned it on and set the sensitivity and timer etc. I have it set to be on for around a minute but when our dogs are chomping through their tea of lamb ribs, chicken wings etc. they are out there for 10-15 minutes every night and the light is on almost constantly as they move around. Even with the dim days in January (and not much sunlight) the light is still preforming well. It really is as bright as an average mains powered light and has a very good spread and distance. I cannot praise it enough. Just wish I could get a bigger solar panel for the PIR porch light that we got from The Solar Centre a few years ago. Duse to being on a NE facing wall the panel can't keep up at his time of year.

3 | 0 Bought the light to illuminate a communal bin stand and plumped for the Elite model for its added IP67 protection. Surprised at the quality of the lamp housing - better than I was expecting. The enlarged solar panel will be south facing so I expect it will do the job admirably. Not fixed it all up yet but the light was very bright even out the box - think it will probably exceed what I was looking for but hey... sunlight is free so no additional running costs! I do think the price is good for such a product. My only gripe is I think communication could be bettered! I bought the Elite lamp knowing it was out of stock and I was prepared to wait for delivery but that said when I did query for updates they were rather slow in responding! All that said I would recommend the company and product because it seems good value for a quality product.

1 | 1 I was originally thinking that I'd be dissapointed with all aspects of this light. I am not. Very well made, and looks like it will last being exposed to our british weather. Very easy to fit, easy to adjust and fathom the positioning and settings. The price is justified for a quality product.

0 | 0 The security light is extremely bright & the PIR was a bit sensitive but the found it easy to adjust the settings. The light illuminates the long garden easily. Fitting was easy but if you are screwing the solar panel to a wall the small screws are a bit tricky. Overall the light is excellent and definitely would recommend it.

0 | 0 Having had one Elite for 10 months and being so pleased with the light output I bought a second one and despite the FAQ advice have wired it up in parallel with the original light to just one single panel as its position was due south. It works brilliantly, and charged from almost empty to full in a short period. My shady bin area is now highly illuminated. Very satisfied..

0 | 0 Excellent solar PIR light on first impression. Very bright in our garden and illuminates most of the 50x30ft space. Mounting the light is very easy and takes just minutes. However mounting the solar panel is a lot more tricky due to the angle of the tiny screws in the back of the panel.

Had concerns because it was purchased in mid-winter (January) in Scotland to light up a big garden to look after a new pup but it has proved to be really good. Easy to install, powerful light and the adjustable settings are good. I am usually out in the garden 7 to 9 times each day for about 15 minutes and the light has always worked.

0 | 0 Delivered on time and with clear instructions, this was easy to install and it looks after the entrance to a large allotments site. It was especially useful to have some 'juice' already in the battery so that the settings could be adjusted on day1. Seems to be working fine after 2 weeks.

0 | 0 I have come across some disappointing solar lights and this is definitely not one of them. It lights my garden effectively and the sensor covers the area I need it to. It is bright and a good match for mains lights. The solar panel is substantial and seems to be up to the job of keeping it charged. The sensitivity and time adjustments are accessible and clear. I think, taking into account the ease of fitting and that there is no need for an electrician, it is good value for money.

1 | 0 Purchased the 700 lumen one first for home which was great. Easy install took about 10 mins or so. Then purchased the 1400 lumen one to light a gateway at a remote field with no electric. Wow it really lights up the 6 metre wide vehicle entrance nicely. The light output is the same as if we had a 240v floodlight there. Probably equivalent to a 150-200 watt mains halogen floodlight? Nice and crisp. I set it to stay on for about 1 min 30 secs and its been fine all over winter, since mid Nov last year, coming on and off a few times every night as we approach the gates.

4 | 0 Although the security light is of very good quality and produce a lot of light, what let me down is the way how the solar panel is fixed to the wall. The way the bracket is designed, it is very difficult to get to the 2 screws closest to the wall . I now need to buy an offset screwdriver in order to do the screws up properly.

3 | 0 Very good light. Quality seems very good, well made. Its very bright. Much better than the multi-small LED lamps that are on Amazon or Ebay (I have one of those as well) I've got the 700 lumen version as well. I have them about 6ft apart along my drive. Both are good.I'm not sure the 1400 lumen version is twice as good as its twice the price. The real test however is if its still working in 12 months time.

3 | 0 I bought the Evo SMD Elite Solar Security Light to replace a cheaper less well spec'd light that failed. I was able to speak to someone on the phone to get advice, which was very helpful, as the location of the light is north facing and the amount of times the light would be required each night is low moderate. I needed to be able to light the path to the front door and a mains security light would have been very costly to install. The Evo SMD Elite Solar Security Light was very easy to install and to date has performed faultlessly, and despite being north facing, keeps the light unit charged. Another big plus for me was the IP67 rating. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

3 | 1 Bought to replace an older model. Easy to install and once set up was found to be much brighter than the older version. Much better solar panel even though larger but overall looks a much better quality product overall. Would certainly recommend it.

4 | 0 Attention to detail is the key to get the best out of this light. Location of Pannel , Pannel angle , time of for correct angle. A very bright light even in the depths of November! As with previous security lights I've purchased like the solar eye 42 the light is totally reliable and works all year round if you know what your doing and place it right!
