0 | 0 Bought 2 then decided we needed another 2. They give a good amount of light & the sensors seem very consistent. The light weight persuaded me to fit to our harled wall using grab & hold adhesive. Seems to have worked well. Only been up for a week or so now so will need to wait to see how well they cope with the Aberdeen weather, but they look & feel robust. So far so good.

1 | 1 I've had over 20 of these lights so far. .Most have lasted for many years, however odd ones have failed ; one filled with rain water, one has started to come on in daylight, but not at night! and odd ones have just packed up. They give out a good light - bright with a wide spread. The detector is sensitive enough and surprises night visitors If you can't find the wall plugs and screws- they often lodge under the flaps in the bottom of the box. Give it a good shake !

0 | 0 Very happy so far with the light itself. Easily mounted with two screws outside the front door. I wanted something with a motion sensor but no cables, giving enough light to see my way in. I wanted this light because of the PIR sensor and that it gives of a 'warmer' light, rather than the cool white. Left it on charge in the sunlight for a couple of days. It is now fixed and comes on when it should. Too early to report durability - only been up a week. Happy to recommend the product at the moment. Customer service was just about satisfactory. I had heard nothing after 5 days of my order, other than a confirmation e-mail. E-mailed the company, only to receive an automated return, so I phoned. Took ages to get through, but eventually I did - the operative didn't know why it hadn't been dispatched, so said she would call the warehouse and get back to me. At this point, I did some 'review' research and found lots of reviews detailing orders taking ages to arrive, e-mails & calls not answered, etc & I started to fear the worst. To be fair, I had an e-mail late that day and a follow up e-mail the next day confirming dispatch and it arrived a couple of days later. However, I prefer for companies that boast on their websites of a prompt dispatch service to be a bit more proactive if nothing has been done to process an order after 5 days. In contrast, 2 days before this, I ordered a similar product from another company online and paid in advance. Within 24 hours, they e-mailed to apologise that it wasn't in stock and issued an immediate refund on my card.

0 | 0 Bought two of these to replace a couple of rubbish ones bought elsewhere a couple of months ago. The service was excellent fron stat to finish, cannot fault in anyway. The lights are brilliant, literally, BRILLIANT!! A beautiful white light which is perfect for entering and exiting a farm gate onto busy road, or into drive. Not to mention coming on throughout the night if our friendly fox decides to test them by walking through the drive!

One unit's photo cell circuit failed to function but upon e-mailing Suzie at customer service, a replacement unit was sent out without delay and without requiring me to send back the faulty unit - what a service!

0 | 0 I've bought about 10 of these for myself and customers. I've had two fail to light up out of the box but customer service superb and replacements fine. These have a decent Lithium battery installed and I've had one almost 3 years (not south-facing) and its never let me down. The warm light with diffuser is so much better than most on the market. Good work SolarCentre!

Easy to install and can be placed a height that makes tampering difficult. Solar power avoids need for mains power. Ordering was straightforward and delivery was prompt.

Fitted to a wall at 2m height to illuminate an adjacent path, triggers at about 1m I had hoped for a longer distance from the side and would have liked a brighter light, however, it is adequate.. Now that I know what 200 lumens is like I will order higher output lights for further installations. It's too early to comment on reliability. The Solar Centre ordering and delivery was fast and efficient and I will use them again.

1 | 0 Wasn't sure this light worked at first, being on a west facing wall with reasonable natural light, but it does. It's not a bright security light but then it was not bought to be one. However the light is great for showing up the dark pathway and steps, and, shines out quite a distance. Approaching from the front does activate the sensor better than approaching from the sides nevertheless I am considering buying a few more. Great delivery and well worth the cost.

Had to replace one of two we bought last year as a visitor unfortunately hit one when backing into the drive in their car ! Was so glad the lights were still available - compact and efficient giving good illumination after nightfall. Took a couple of days to charge up but expected this given the time of year and daylight quality. Would definitely recommend - great value for money.

1 | 0 Bought this light to illuminate steps off of drive and onto a pathway. The light was mounted at the end of a low wall, about a metre above the steps and facing east,, also it was December, so not the ideal time or place to install. Should have read the troubleshooting part of the instructions, as the light did'nt work. Not happy,as a previous light from another supplier failed to work in this position (battery powered). I just could'nt bother to take it down, so left it where it was. After about a week it suddenly burst into life and is working well , gives a good light and the sensor picks up movement at around five to six metres

They worked straight from the box and so far no problem with charging up - it's November. Have bought more for the side passage. They are neat in design and surprisingly bright but won't dazzle the neighbours.

I have just threaded covered garden wire through the holes and hung them up rather than using the screws. It works!!!!! I have one by my back gate and now my porch as well. 0 | 0 Rated as "pretty good" rather than "awesome" since the angle of the motion sensor is a tiny bit limited and on a narrow path to the side of my house it doesn't pick up until you are quite close to the light when approaching side on. Having said that, the direction of the light is excellent and it is much brighter than a similar light that I bought over two years ago, presumably due to technological advances. The unit itself is quite small, so if you are looking for a feature light, this probably isn't what you need. As a discreet back door light or similar it's ideal. I've had mine for a couple of weeks now so it's had rain and sunshine and it functions perfectly in both.

Have only had it a couple of weeks, and if it doesn't last longer than 3 years I think the battery ought to be replaceable, though this would require a weatherproof compartment. The PIR is more sensitive than I expected. I had to install it on a north facing wall and cannot expect full performance, but so far am very satisfied, especially at the price.

1 | 0 Small, neat unit with a good light output for it's size. It would benefit by having the light stay on a bit longer (useful when unloading the car). I fixed mine to my bungalow gutter using a small piece of wood as a clamp - looks good and works well, would be good if the unit came with a plastic strip (with tapped holes) which could be used as a clamp .
