Super quality. I have the same lights from 2012 and a few still work after changing the batteries. New deal only made sour by the €32 Euro SOLL changed by the German government. The price we pay for Brexit!

2 | 0 Have bought many of these lights over the years and used them in many different locations. They work well, not only in decking but in gravel and raised beds so ;long as the drainage is good.

6 | 3 sent the wrong lights at first but no problem at all swapping them and now they are fitted they are just as hoped,, look really good and even though they aren't in direct sun, they give a bright sparkling light. looking forward to enjoying the effect as the nights get darker would recommend

2 | 3 Not sure how long they are expected to last. We purchased some of the Solar Square decking lights maybe 4 years ago and 2 or 3 out of 12 are no longer charging. The others are still going strong so rather than get a complete new set of other lights we purchased some additional lighting to replace these. They are very good quality and look great in our stone patio.

1 | 1 Bought these to fill in the holes where I'd removed the balustrade posts from my son's decking. Presumed they'd the same size as the standard decking post size but they're 2cms bigger (perhaps something for the manufacturer to consider). Aynway a quick zip with an angle grinder & they fitted beautifully. Very nicely finished they look the business. 3 days later switched them (had to use screwdriver as my fingers we're too big for the recess). Very nice lighting effect. They seem to charge efficiently even during Scottish summer weather. Let's see how the do over the winter months. Overall very pleased with the finish & the lighting effect.

2 | 4 I ordered the square lights having read reviews that the circular lights were slightly off-size when the hole in the deck was cut. However, I received the circular lights anyway - really quickly I might add. Time will tell when it comes to sinking them into the deck if the reviews I read were correct. Anyway, I've held onto them as I do prefer the circular lights. Although not sunk in yet, we have placed them where we want them and I am delighted with the effect. They are bright and the charge lasts at least 6 hours (pity I'm in my bed for most of that time). They certainly do the job I bought them for. Would recommend them.

2 | 0 Bought two sets to put along the front of my decking. Fitted them as instructed and left them for three days to charge. I was really chuffed when they all came on the first night; they emit a soft almost blue light which looks so classy. Don't know how long they stayed on in total but were on when I went to bed. The design is quite contemporary but looks really good against my 100yr + country cottage.

3 | 1 Have previously purchased these, so no hesitation to buy more. Not only do they look a quality light, they give emit a pleasant light as well. They have not been tested as to the length of time they stay on, but are still very bright after 6 hours. Does what it says on the box

1 | 0 purchased 8 lights, yet to be inserted, on my decking. I charged them up before switching them on and they work perfectly, giving off a lovely bright light. The lights were very prompt to arrive. All individually boxed and apart from a few minor scratches on 1 or 2, all perfect. The only reason I've not given 5 stars is the on/off switches on the bottom are quite difficult to tell if its on or off! I'm sure when I've had these lights fitted they will work well and look very stylish. Would recommend and also buy from this company again.

1 | 0 I ordered the set of 4 Square Solar lights and unfortunately when they arrived one of the lights was the round one by mistake. However this has been rectified and a replacement is on it's way. I was allowed to keep the round deck light and have found a use for it. So, needless to say, I can recommend both the square and round decking lights. Both give off a good ambient glow and stay lit all night even on cloudy days. Highly recommended.....

1 | 0 Purchased 12 of these lights, I had a joiner fit mine, but any competent DIY person could also, they light up our new decking and summer house, they give off a soft blue light, which is great. The only thing i would say is the hole you cut is very nearly the size of a decking plank, so if you are fitting several like we did, straddle 2 planks for structural reasons.

2 | 1 Bought a couple of different "one offs" to test and see what worked, these lights were the best and brightest, well impressed, purchased 12 for patio as a follow on, very effective, slight concern about how long they will last as I have them set in gravel as opposed to decking and they are not fully sealed as there is a hole in the base to allow access to the on/off switch but they are a quality product so hoping they will be long lasting

2 | 0 Bought set of four lights, 3 worked brilliantly but the fourth had to be returned and took 3 'phone calls and over two weeks to be replaced. Ordered a second set of lights, again one faulty, reported to Solar on 28 August but still waiting for replacement which they say will probably be next week. Lights good, but replacement service very poor.

The solar company were excellent when one light arrived faulty they sent one out for next day delivery. Will certainly recommend this company and these lights and would buy them again.

0 | 0 This product seems well made and performs ok. Just a small tip: I found the on/off switch needed a strong press until a "click" could be heard for the lights to operate. It would be helpful, in my option, if the manufacturer could make this clear in their installation instructions.

0 | 0 I bought 6 of these lights initially to complete a decking project - they look like they are mains-supplied when working and are of good quality. So pleased I then bought another couple. Maybe more expensive than that found elsewhere, but in my opinion it's worth the extra as these are so much better. Minor problem on one light not switching off which was instantly replaced with no questions asked. I wish all companies were like this :) Highly recommended.

0 | 0 Five installed along the edge of the decking. We decided to take down the balustrade around the deckling as little one is fully capable of stepping down the 20cm of decking onto the grass. (Also I didn't really want to have to paint all the spindles again). Lights fit perfectly into the holes left by the posts. Surprisingly bright but have got used to them now. Would whole-heartedly recommend.

0 | 0 I have 9 of these around the garden, 4 on decking and 5 recessed into sleepers. For solar lights they are unbelievably bright and stay lit pretty much all night. You wouldn't want them to light your garden up but for adding a really nice night time feature they are fantastic

0 | 0 I have just purchased another four of these lights for my patio area. The previous six have worked very well throughout the winter months as they have always lit up at dusk. They are also good quality and are not affected by the weather. They do not give off a particularly bright light but enough to mark path edges well.

0 | 0 We have a Gravelled area within our patio and I have fitted the square Brick Lights in each of the corners. I have mounted them on a mortar support so that the top of the lights are level with the patio slabs. Gravel stones then surround the other two sides. Looks very effective and the lights work well so far. Am going to order some more.
