Dark, cold and windy days, no more Christmas to look forward to and the financial burden of being paid early all add up to one dreaded Monday: Blue Monday. The most depressing day of the year. You might have been thinking this morning: “how many days does January have? 540?”. For many people, the third Monday of January is the hardest day to get through. The New Year’s resolutions become near impossible to stick to and you have a whole week ahead of you. Well… you are not alone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are our best practices and simple ways to get through Blue Monday and elevate your mood:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Go outside<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Just half an hour of exercise is a really positive way to boost your mood and your endorphins. Take a walk, potter in the garden or just breathe in the fresh air. Your stress levels will go down and you will soon relax.<\/p>\n\n\n
