I have only just charged (via USB) and hung these and it's been pouring with rain most of the time since but they are working fine at the moment and lovely and bright. I have kept the control tube under the eaves - hanging up in the direction instructed! - and for double safety put a plastic bag over it - I am still concerned that the rain may get into the lightbulbs themselves so only time will tell whether they hold up to their waterproofing promise!!! there is definitely a lot of wire between each bulb - I have a very long curved boundary wall and would have loved to put them round that but didn't have enough fencing/hedging to do so so have compromised and hung them round a circular willow screen that fences off my chickens - this meant I had to loosely loop the wire round the willow rods several times between bulbs in order to reduce the overall length. this doesn't look brilliant in the daytime! but at night you can't see the wire anyway so it's fine. Fingers crossed these do the job for me all year round as last year's cheap chainstore ones didn't survive the winter at all. got these at sale price and with an extra Cyber Monday discount so have paid the same for one string as I did for three chainstore ones. So hoping the quality of these will make for better value than any previous purchases!

1 | 0 Really beautiful lights ! USB charged them in a couple of hours and I hung them along my fence panel and they stayed on from 8pm to 5am stunning !!! It's lovely love some colourful lights to look at during these difficult times when we are stuck at home especially as I shielding with my mum & dad both 85 yrs old they loved them too. I especially love my flickering candle lantern which I'm definitely getting more I'm lost for words can't believe how realistic they look. My oldest solar lights are from 2016 so very happy worth the cost.
