3 | 0 As they say 'You pays your money and you makes your choice' Don't bother with cheap solar lighting - these lights are truly excellent and provide a very acceptable level of lighting on my remote gateposts. Would not hesiate to recommend them - I've had mine for 2 years now and still going strong.

They light up the garden beautifully from dark to dawn and not all are in full sunlight. At this time of year (April) there's not that much here anyway.. My advice.............Don't hesitate. Just order them.

3 | 0 The wall light looks so beautiful and so far I loved it despite the fact I struggled with instructions sheet, it wasn't clear where to screw the screws and drill plugs holes, while in other wall lights like Canterbury it had a fixing template sheet unlike Windsor model. I might order another wall lights sometime later and I hope to see enhanced instructions.

I purchased them over a period of time because in the past whatever I bought never lasted. With these lights the first one which I bought a year age is still as good as the last one I put up three weeks ago. So highly recommended. Great product.

1 | 0 I've given this 5 stars not only for the good looking lamp (sturdy and well made) of which I ordered 2 and will shortly be ordering a third - but 5 stars also refers to the service I've received from the Solar Centre themselves. The lamps illuminate the patio really well, an ambient light for when you want to sit out but don't want bright lights around you spoiling the night. No problems with charging them as I've got a south facing garden. No idea how long they stay on as they are still alight when I go to bed around midnight. Really happy with my purchase and service. My order for a 3rd will be submitted shortly!

The only reason for 4 stars is that there needs to be an adjustment for the dusk sensor as the light does not illuminate until all daylight has gone which maybe fine for some purposes but we prefer to see the lights come on around dusk. Would recommend these lights and the service for the solar centre was first class.

3 | 0 Good value for money. Straight forward user guide. Easy to fit but you need both a small screwdriver and a nut spinner to easily remove & refit the top. Good light even at the lower setting. However, after a few days of miserable weather, it failed one night around 11:30 pm. It's currently switched off allowing a full recharge during the rest of the week. Possibly the location is not particularly suitable for a solar light. Maybe I'll have to revert to good old mains electricity and use the Windsor lamp somewhere else.

Wall base unit is plastic, and slightly flexible, so lamp can wobble. Looks 5 stars, best looking lamp I could find..

The only thing that stopped me giving it five stars is that it would be better if the switch was on the outside so you could easily change it from full to reduced power, or turn it off to build up a full charge for a special occasion, without having to unscrew the top.

This light is exceptional it came on the first night we installed it and has work every night since even if it has been very cloudy and raining and not much sun. Would definitely recommend.

They look very nice and stay on for about 6 hours now (early September) but I expect in the dead of winter they will be on at 4.30 pm and off by 7.0 pm Part of the problem is my house faces south east so not enough sun. I am going to buy Evo SMD Security light with extension cable to position panel facing south.

Commenced by lighting the whole area to a low level supported by flood lights. Stayed powered all night. The wall brackets.were far to small to use on ladder wiith bracket at 3 metre height.. Lights fixed in place by back tywrap - very neat! Everthing y else as per the label. ����

0 | 0 Products are beautiful very contemporary and match my new door completely. Lights arrived well packed & product boxes pristine also. There was good communication for delivery. Setting up the lights was so simple and they afford a basic good light very welcoming. Slight manufacturing chip on glass of one product ....this is where this company excelled NO DRAMA photo sent to the delightful "S" &.... new product arrived next full working day and I kept the damaged one as a spare unbelievably painless ..thanks guys This was factory damage clearly ...I write reviews as I find them useful but it has been a pleasure to write this one. Certainly would purchase from thesolarcenture again.

0 | 0 This is a fantastic product which I highly recommend. Great looking product, great light output, delivery very good too. The only problem I have is they don't work when the street light comes on which shines over my wall. These new lights replaced my previous lights which look similar but didn't have this problem. I've solved the problem by putting coasters on the top which works a treat. I've still given this product 5* as the problem is mine not the product. I will be ordering another two very shortly as I have great faith in these lights.

0 | 0 Great lanterns, had small problem when 2 of the lights had broken glass but customer services were great in handling the problem, new lights were replaced within 3days and that included a weekend. The lights are great, very bright and shone all night long on our decking, plus they looked so smart, I'm so pleased with the product and with customer services, Certainly be using them again., many thanks.

2 | 0 Having ordered this light it arrived with no protective packaging, and all the glass broken. Having contacted customer service who were most helpful, I was sent a second light. More by luck than judgement, it arrived safely, unbroken. There was still no protective packaging, just a bigger box for it to rattle around in. This could so easily be addressed. But the light itself is fine.

1 | 0 This is the only solar light I saw on the Internet and in shops that I liked, was out of stock when I wanted to order so requested they email me when back in. I ordered it recently and was very happy with it. Came very quickly and piacked very well. Was reasonably easy to put up looks really good. The light is nice and cosy . Not used yet through the the winter so will depend on how the winter goes to see how it performs. The price is very good too x

0 | 0 These were out of stock when I did an internet search, but they were just what I wanted, so I requested the Solarcentre to notify me when they were back in stock, and ordered one. It arrived very quickly and was well packaged, and despite the poor instructions I found it very simple to fix to my summerhouse. I was so pleased with the performance and excellent looks of the lamp that I ordered another one to fix to the brick wall outside my property, but found this very difficult owing to the necessity of locating the bolt-heads into the hexagonal fitting at the back of the circular fixing. Fine and easy for fixing on a flat (wooden) surface, but almost impossible on any other surface. The first lamp took me ten minutes to fit, the second one took over two hours! However, they are both working exceptionally well and look fantastic and I plan to fit several more of them around the property - on flat surfaces!

0 | 0 This is the second lot of Windsor lights I have had from The solar centre.. Great service., units well packed. Easy to instal and give out more light than my mains powered 20 watt wall lights. They have replaced. South facing mounted they stay on all night long. An excellent outside wall light.

I'm not sure how long they stay on for as we only had the big switch on last night after three days charging. Our neighbours want some now!

1 | 0 I purchased a similar priced light before this. It was nowhere near the quality and stopped working within a week. I am really happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone. I use this for a porch light on a dimly lit street so its easier to see to open the front door in the dark. The sunlight now (February) is not enough to get a full nights light out of the battery charge but its still going strong in the early hours. I should think in a month or so it will last the night.

0 | 0 Beautiful lamp, easy to fix and runs from dusk till dawn on the 'energy saver' setting. Even with this reduced power the lamp is still bright enough to illuminate the whole of the wood store. Very happy with the lamp and also with Solar Centre's continuing excellent service. Thank you.

2 | 0 I have purchased several products over the last year from solar centre, these include 22 'paverlights' and 7 'Canterbury XT' wall lights These items have performed well, and to date (10th Sept 2015) they are all still capable of running until morning, even after several overcast/rainy days - so I had high hopes for my latest purchase - x2 Windsor wall lights. Sadly, although they look great, the run time after a full days charging is only about 3 hours (maybe 4hrs if sunny all day) Last night they came on at 8pm, but were both out before midnight - such a pity:( My other products as stated above (Paverlights and Canterbury XT) continue to light the entire night - so I have a good comparison and the Windsor wall lights with their short run time are a disappointment. Both these lights are in open aspects and are not in any shade at all - so I have little hope they will light for any time this coming winter, even on the 'winter saver' setting?. I feel the problem might be the fact that the Windsor lights have 4 LED lights (SMD's) in them and the solar panel perhaps just cannot cope with the power drain??. Whatever the reason, they do fall a bit short in performance (ironically, the Canterbury XT lights only have a single LED/SMD bulb and are brighter than the light I am reviewing and last entire night!) I would be interested to read other reviews later in the year regards run time as these are new on the market?. This has in no way put me off Solar Centre products - as my other purchases are first class and my 'paverlights' are amazing!!!
