These are beautiful shiny, bright, lights, if I had loads of dosh, I would buy hundreds of sets and decorate my whole garden and house. Regardless of what my husband says. Customer Service at The Solar Centre is second to none. Any problems are investigated thoroughly, and humorously - and resolved to the customers satisfaction! A thoroughly Good Load of Chaps!

Lovely While they Lasted
I bought these for my daughter's party on 31 July - They lit the garden beautifully, and I decided to leave them in place, because the garden looked so pretty with them. Sadly by the first week in September, they stopped working. I did check that the panel was facing the sun, and double checked the connection and on-off button. But no more fairylights.

Please contact us and we'll look into this for you. You've got a 12 month warranty on the lights so worst case scenario we'll replace the set you've got there.

Blingstring Solar Fairy Lights can be installed in a matter of minutes by using the 2 simple mounts that come with your lights. The flat mount gives you the option to fix the solar panel to fences, walls, decking or roofs. The stake gives you the option to place your solar panel in your lawn, flower bed or plant pots.
How it works
Blingstring’s are completely solar powered. During the day the suns rays are absorbed by the Blingstring’s Solar Panel which charges the rechargeable batteries included with your lights. After dark the rechargeable batteries power the lights for up to 12 hours before charging up again the following day. Blingstring’s are fully weather resistant and use the same amount of power as a typical TV remote control making them safe to use outside in all weather conditions.
Frequently Asked Questions
how do i change the lighting mode? i would like to keep them on permanently?
By stuart brearley on Jul 19, 2015
To change the mode keep pushing the on/off button. The constant setting is the last setting before the lights turn off.
Can I detach the lights whilst charging and plug them in intermittently as required?
By Maria cody on Jul 15, 2015
You can detach the lights and leave the panel in the sunshine to charge. I would be careful about water ingress into the plug part if you leave it unplugged. The other (and better) alternative is to use the on/off switch on the back and turn them on when you want them to work.
Do these bulbs have a blue hue when lit ? The ones I have found in garden centres do, rather than pure white.
By Gill Landers on Jun 26, 2015
These are white lights. A few have mentioned a slightly blue hue but it is rare.
