The Solar PIR Utility Light makes for an extremely effective solar shed light but can also be mounted outside as a PIR solar security light. The advantage of the Solar PIR Utility Light is that you won't need to fumble for a switch when you enter your shed at night. The PIR will activate as soon as you open the shed door and turn off again as soon as you leave so no chance of forgetting to turn it off. The Solar Shed Mate I is the first of 5 Solar Mate kits that will light anything from a small shed to a large outbuilding. Unlike the other solar lights here the Solar Mate I is a kit rather than a self contained unit and requires a 12V car battery to run (not supplied). While not particularly hard to install, the Solar Mate kits are a more serious and robust proposition than the other lights within this group. The Solar Mate I comes with a 5W panel a roof / wall fixing kit, 12 volt energy saving bulb, ceiling / wall bulb holder, wall switch, 5m cable, connectors, fuses and detailed instructions.
