Evo 15 Solar light
Bought to provide some light to the shed door. Works OK- light is adequate - but it's a bit flimsy. The swivel on the solar panel is floppy. If I get 12 months out of it I'll be happy.

Adequate solar light
I bought this to light my shed, so far is adequate but had for a short period.

Evo15 solar light
Absolutely thrilled with this light, it lights up enough of the garden for my puppy to go out at night to go to the toilet , highly recommend it

Didn't like it
The first day I set it aside to charge, it rained. Water got in the lens but it still worked. Wasn't bright enough for our garden either. Sent it back and bought an electric one.

This solar light is an absolute bargain. It's of decent quality, is easy to fit and does the job very nicely as a front porch light.

How it works
The Solar PIR Utility Light has a powerful 0.6W solar panel that charges the high capacity battery during the day. At night the Solar PIR Utility Light lights up as soon as it detects motion and turns itself off 25 seconds after motion stops.
Using it as a Solar Security Light:
Simply position your Solar PIR Utility Light outside and postion the solar panel facing south. After dark the Solar PIR Utility light will light up as soon as it detects motion.
Using our 15-LED Solar PIR Light as a Solar Shed Light:
Install your light inside your shed and postion the solar panel outside (usually on top of your shed). When you enter your shed the PIR Utility Light will light up automatically and turn off again 25 seconds after you leave.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the light be positioned in low-light areas? We wish to mount inside an open porch but the location , although an open area, does not receive direct sunlight.
By Andrew Asker on Aug 3, 2014
The solar panel needs to be positioned in direct sunlight. The light part does not need direct sunlight.
I bought an Evo15 light a couple of years ago. It has stopped working. Could this be because it has been so dull that the battery has run down completely? If not, any idea what the problem is?
By C Rower on Feb 18, 2014
If it is a couple of years old then it is entirely possible that the battery has finally died. You cannot replace the batteries in an Evo 15 Solar PIR Utility Light.
Do these PIRs have a guarantee? I bought 2 about 1 year ago and one of them no longer lights from the sensor, although it can be switched on manually (which doesn't really help!). Can I get a replacement?
By Stewart Archer on Feb 14, 2014
All of our lights are covered by a 12 month guarantee. I would recommend checking when you purchased the lights exactly and contacting the office to complete some troubleshooting: Returns@TheSolarCentre.co.uk
