Proven wrong Verified Purchase
I was sceptical a solar powered light would be bright enough and work through the night, but am pleased to say I have been proven wrong. Very happy with my purchase!

Excellent customer service Verified Purchase
This was a replacement for a light, where one of the spots failed. Contacted the solar centre, a picture sent in response to confirm the problem. New unit dispatched and received within 3 days. Didn’t have to return the faulty light. Wish more companies responded in such a courteous way. Many thanks

Works very well. Verified Purchase
Solar light works very well and is very well made. Very easy to install and switches on and off successfully with 2 easy adjustments. We used it at about 10' high at end of house where it is very dark but it throw's light around a large area very brightly.

The two light heads can be tilted up and down through 180 degrees independently of one another and rotated left and right through 180 degrees as a pair, or through 90 degrees individually.

The motion sensor offers 120 degrees detection angle at a range of up to 10m can be rotated horizontally through 180 degrees. The Shield is designed to work year round in the UK and comes complete with high grade lithium ion batteries installed and approximately 5m of cable between the light and solar panel.

Note: Time ranges from 10-80 seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the cable (quoted as "approx" 5m) be lengthened? I need about 10m as I want to put the light fitting at the bend of an "L" shaped covered passageway. If not, can you suggest an alternative? Thanks.
By Nick Vernon-Smith on Jul 6, 2021

I am afraid that we do not sell an extension cable for that light.

Having been caught with IP44 products which then fail, I’d be grateful if you’d let me know what the IP rating is for this. It looks exactly what we need so just keen to check. Thanks.
By Tim Stone on Jan 23, 2021

This is rated as IPX5. The light so far has had no ingress issues.

Does the bracket fit on the corner of the house. As want one light to go down the side of the house and the other to the front. Thanks
By Douglas Griffiths on Jan 18, 2021

The surface needs to be flat, it will not go onto a corner.
