The Dover Solar Double PIR Light is a state-of-the-art security floodlight that provides superior lighting for your home or business. The light is fitted with two sensors that detect motion up to 8m away with an 180-degree area, and operates in total darkness. With three adjustable heads, one adjustable middle head, and two on either side of it, the light will illuminate wide areas of your property. It has built-in LED bulbs that are super bright, making it ideal for illuminating your entranceway or driveway, and encouraging burglars and unwanted visitors away from your property.

Will get another! Verified Purchase
Impressed. Have one at the porch of my bungalow. Illuminates both the small front garden & the path running by. Will probably get at least another one, possibly two, for the sheds in the back garden. Only reasons for not giving 5*'s. Emailed a query about the price/discount voucher, which was not replied to. Secondly, had a slight issue with the base plate. The light unit does not seem to click/lock in to it as expected. But a very good, bright light, & I will be getting at least one more.

Excellent light for back garden. Perfect for seeing the dog at night. There is enough depth of light but the angle is a bit limited by the proximity of the solar panel but its not a problem, plenty of light sideways as well.

Very bright, love the two side lamps that swivel. It seems to designed for vertical mounting, my requirements are a bit unusual but I can fashion a suitable mount. The motion sensors are great, fantastic range. This was bought to replace a 10 year old "EYE" which eventually failed having been a superb item in dark dreary Scotland, at this time of year if the weather is perfect we can expect a maximum of 6 hours of daylight... The Dover LED technology is obviously leaps and bounds ahead. The other "EYE" I purchased 10 years ago still works, well done Solar Centre!!

Description

This distinct floodlight has an unequivocal presence with its three adjustable light heads that are designed for completely customisable coverage. The middle light head can pivot 90 degrees up and down, and the two heads on the left and right adjust 360 degrees up and down, and 120 degrees side to side.

The Dover is also equipped with not just one, but two motion sensors that detect motion up to 8m away with a 180-degree area. This floodlight provides wider coverage for activating the light when motion is detected offering much-needed light in the dark whilst also acting as an innovative intruder deterrent.

Mode 1 - Automatic Lighting

The solar floodlight automatically turns on at night until dawn or until the batteries run out, whichever comes first. There is no motion sensor function in this mode.

Mode 2 - Power-saving Mode + Motion Activated Full Brightness

The solar floodlight automatically turns on with power-saving mode at dusk and then activates full brightness when motion is detected. The light will return back to power-saving mode 20 seconds after the motion stops.

Mode 3 - Motion Activated Full Brightness

The solar floodlight turns on full brightness whenever motion is detected. It automatically turns off after 20 seconds once the motion stops to prolong battery life. [Strongly recommended for best winter performance].
