Are the bulbs shatterproof/ safety glass or clear plastic material? Would like to hang next to a wall but worried how they would be in the wind. Have bought my other solar lights from you and they are all fantastic. Thanks

The Advance bulbs are plastic.
I have spent a small fortune over the years on cheapish solar string lights and some have literally only lasted months then stopped lighting up. I can see you guarantee your string solar lights for a year but can you give me an idea how long they realistically could last for? Thank you

Hi Jenny, The average lifespan would be 2-3 years, due to the average lifespan of a chargeable battery, however, once the battery is changed, the lights can keep going for a lot longer.

Can I turn these on before dusk? I find the auto on/off ones dont come on until ive gone to bed!

Hi, What type of battery does the 'Advance' panel come with and if so how many bays? Can the advance panel be used with any other lighting (say festoon to fairy)?

The batteries are 18650 Li-ion battery2200 mAh 3.7V and there is one of them. The panel cannot be used for any other lighting.
