Hello, Unfotunately, we do not advise to do this.
I am in the UK so how many hours of sun/daylight should the light receive to ensure it works.

Before first use we do recommend that these are switched off for 3-5 days to allow the batteries to receive a full charge. Once this is done we would recommend that you place the lights south facing as possible as these have integrated panels. It depends on the type of sunlight that it is getting to give you an accurate answer on the number of hours, if it is clouded over etc or direct sunlight. I would just recommend getting int oa postion where if there was direct sunlight and it will always be receiving a charge.

Hi Besjon, The light are weather resistant they are IP54
Is it really 145mm (H)? The image showed doesn't provide an impression the H is so similar to the W (140mm). Please advise.

The light is 45mm in height.

Hi Greg, The Anthralite microwave sensor does not require a direct line of sight, it can detect motion around corners, behind glass or thin walls. The Anthralight will constantly emit a light of 50 lumens, and then when motion is detected this will increase by 150, and will remain at the total of 200 for 30 seconds.

At dusk, the Anthralight Solar Security Light lights up automatically and provides a constant 50-lumen warm white glow throughout the evening. Once motion is detected, the brightness increases to 200 lumens and remains at that brightness until 30 seconds after the motion stops.

No sorry, the motion is the main function of the light. It will stay at a low level until movement then will get brighter.

Can you give me the dimensions of the back plate and the distance between the fixing points? I assume from photo they can be attached to a fence.

The dimensions are: 14cm wide by 19cm deep by 4.6cm high The distance between the two screws should be 80mm. They can be fitted on a flat surface (wall/fence etc).
