There is no real height limit, however you will need to take in consideration what it is you are trying to light up, as the higher up the more spread of light, so it really is up to you!
Is there a way to replace the battery when it is required?

The internal battery has the average lifespan of 2 to 3 years, however it is replaceable, and therefore the product can run for a very long time.
Hi, could you tell me where the solar panel is located on this light? i.e. is it possible to mount it so that the top is covered?

Hello Graham, Unfortunately in this case, the panel is on the top of the unit, meaning it cannot be mounted in a way that covers the panel as this would mean the light will receive no charge and therefore not work.
Hi, can you switch off the 15% power mode completely so it saves power unless it detects movement.?

Hello Joe, Unfortunately, the light only has the one setting which is 15% brightness, going up to 100% when brightness is detected.
Do you have any pictures of it attached to a wall. Also, how do you attach it?

It's not clear whether it has a single on/off switch, or whether you can turn the dusk til dawn light OFF - and if you did, would it still come on with movement? Thx

Hi, After pressing the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds, it will glow blue indicating the light is on. The dusk til dawn setting is automatic, meaning the light switches on at dusk and operates at 15% capacity, and switches to 100% when movement is detected. If the light were to be switched off- which turns off the dusk til dawn setting also- the movement detection would not work. Hope this helps!
What does the blue light indicate when on during the day? Does it mean the light is charging?

Hi Gavin, The blue light indicates that it is on. Just hold down the button for 5 seconds to turn it off again.
Your description mentions that the light stays on at 50 lum and then increases to 200 when motion is detected. How one of your responses was it does not have a motion detector. Bit confused on this one. Also can you turn the unit off if not required. Look forward to receiving your response. Thanks Steve

Apologies, it must have been an error. The light operates at 15% brightness when there is no motion. Brightness increases to 100% as soon as motion is detected and reverts to 15% brightness 30seconds after motion stops.
Are the solar panel on the opposite side to the LEDs?

Yes, the panel is located on top of the unit.

Can you please give me the dimensions between the fixing points on the back plate and of the back plate itself? I assume they can be attached to a wooden fence. What is the IP rating on the products in this line?

The two screws will be placed 60mm apart. They can be installed on a wooden fence. There are waterproof.
