Frequently asked questions

Can the batteries be recharged or changed.

Asked by Jean Phillips on 19 Nov 2023

The batteries can be recharged and they can be replaced. There is a 18650 battery in panel. We recommend with all our lights where instructed to charge them for 3-5 days before using the lights. The battery should not need to be replaced within the first year.

Hi, are the bulbs replaceable or are they integrated LEDs. If the latter, then I assume the whole light will need to be discarded when the integrated LEDs finally die. In this case how many hours can be expected from these units. Thanks

Asked by Michele Carnie on 15 Oct 2023

Hi Michele, the light bulbs are intergrated and would not be able to be replaced. With a full charge then can work up to 10 hours

Asked by Mel on 6 Apr 2023

Hi Mel, The solar panel can be stake or wall/deck mounted, but the lights can't.

Hi I have a few queries if you don't mind. 1) The description says the cable is 2.7m howeve, however in the FAQ's you have stated 4.5m, please could you confirm which is the correct length? 2) Do you know the IP rating for dust and waterproofing? 3) Is the battery replaceable? Thanks.

Hi, do these solar lights require batteries and if so what type?

Asked by Marion Murphy on 11 Mar 2021

The batteries are pre-installed.

Hi I like the look of these but would need a longer cable for the job. The lights would be used to highlight piece of sculpture in a shady spot but there will be a pergola a few metres away on which I would like to mount the solar panel to maximise exposure to sunlight. Is this possible and if so, could you suggest the extension cable. Many thanks Marian

Asked by Marian White on 20 Dec 2020

Sadly there is no extension cable for the Apollo at this time.

Can they be USB Charged when they don't work.?? This is what sets them apart from other Solar Lights, which I Love. They are abit pricey but yu don't mind paying if they work in my opinion. Thank You Solar Centre, my Garden is Lookin Beautiful.

Thank you for you lovely comments and glad you love our lights as much as we do! These are non USB chargeable.
