But On reading the description I notice it says only for spring summer and autumn, would they not work at all during the winter or do you just not advise they be used in winter?? If unable to use them in winter do you advise they be stored away in a garage away from the elements?? Many thanks Martyn

Yes, that would be worthwhile, at this time of year they won't produce much light anyway.
