It is 275 lumens. The equivalent to a 150w halogen light. You'd be surprised how bright it is.
Can the batteries be replaced and what do they cost

The batteries can be replaced. They should last at least 2 years. A new battery usually costs around £30 but needs a special quotation so always contact the office.
What is the distance the motion sensor detects movement? Is it adjustable

12m from the front of the unit. You cannot adjust the distance but you can change the angle of the sensor to shorten it.
I got the astron 64 light as a gift from my friend.The On/Off switch on the floodlight is not working however.I haven't used it yet.Is it covered under warranty?

Please ask your friend to contact the original supplier. They will do some troubleshooting to find the cause of the answer and if it is faulty will replace the unit if it is inside the 12 month warranty guarantee.

I Know you have a 5m extension cable available . Do you have a longer one or is it possible to connect two 5m cables together ?

You can connect the cables together. For each cable you connect you will lose a small amount of charge due to the longer distance for the power to travel.
Do you have an extension kit available for this light yet so that the distance from the light to the panel can be extended?

I run a residents association and am looking to purchase security lights for our shared car parks after some recent unwanted visitors. I am looking to confirm what the PIR range is and what kind of area this light would light up.

The PIR detection range is 2m to 12m. The light is the equivalent of a 150 watt halogen light and will cover up to 30m.
Is it possible to extend the distance of the solar panel to the light? I need about 12 metres from the light location to the ideal panel location.

We are intending to have an extension cable available (within the next couple of months) to increase the distance between the light and the PIR and also the light to the solar panel due to customer feedback.

The LED bulbs should last for in the region of 100,000 hours so there's no need to replace them during the lifetime of the product.

The range is approx 4 - 120 seconds that you can adjust yourself.
Do these lights come on when heat- or movement- activated.please? Hoping to find one I can push into the soil but not easily pullupable.

The Light is activated via a standard Passive Infra Red (PIR) that works in exactly the same way as any mains powered version. With regards to fixing it to the ground it could easily be bolted down to concrete.
Can the solar panel be easily mounted onto concrete roof tiles?

The Solar Panel is surprisingly small so could be easily mounted with a bead of silicone under the edge of the panel to concrete roof tiles.
