Do these fairy lights hang down like icicles or are they just on a single layer?
Asked by Sylvia on 6 Dec 2016
They're on a single string so don't hang down like icicles.
Only had these for a short time and lights at first stayed on all night. Now coming on at dusk but going off way before dawn. Why??. Disappointed as still on shortest nights. ???

This sounds like the panel location problem and the solar cells aren’t getting enough sun light. If you can try changing the angle and the location of the panel. At this time of year (mid summer) in the UK the solar panel should be almost horizontal, I’d also suggest allowing the batteries to charge for 2-3days without switching the lights on. If you continue to have problems please contact us.
Are these lights cool white or warm white?
Asked by john priest on 28 May 2016
These are cool white. Click here for Warm White Fairy Lights
Hi, can you explain what you mean buy a detachable string please.
Asked by audrey on 12 Sep 2015
You can detatch the solar panel and control pack from the lights. This means that when you need to charge your lights you do not need to untangle the string from the installed location every time.
What colour is the cable?
Asked by Claire on 12 Aug 2015
The cable is green
Why do you include a rechargeable battery with these lights if you cannot change the battery?
Asked by Virginia on 3 Aug 2015
The solar panel charges the battery which operates the light at night. The battery comes already installed in the unit.
Do these match the Canterbury solar lights in colour given off or would the warm court be more suitable please? Thanks
Asked by Cat on 26 Jun 2015
They are not far off the same white as the Canterbury lights. It is hard to compare them due to the white diffuser on the Canterbury.
Please can someone tell me the depth of the bulb? The reason for asking is that I want to thread them through my trellis but I only have a depath/width of 2 cms. But if they are detachable from the cable, then I can undo them and reattach when the cable if threaded through.
Asked by Christine on 16 Apr 2015
The LEDs cannot be detached from the cable. It is roughly 2.5cm from tip of LED, including the casing part, back to the cable.
Can you please confirm what type of rechargeable AA batteries come with these light? NiMH? Thank you.
