Hi, have just received my Chiron Solar Spotlights - thank you - when unboxing the lights there are no included instructions. my question is; 'is there a procedure to follow when setting up the lights, ie initial charging before actually sighting and switching on'. Thanks in advance, John

Please charge for 3-5 days before switching the light on, as this allows the light to establish a base charge.

No there is no timer option on this light. It can be manually turned on/off in the evening.

This light has an on/off switch button. However, if you leave the light switched on, it will come on automatically every evening.

There are no cables. The panel is integrated. The battery should last for at least 2-3 years.
I have not been able to change modes on the panel.Should there have been a remote control in the package? Kind regards John

You will have to click on the power button in order to change modes. It does not come with remote control.
Does this light definitely have a warm white setting? I have read a review on Amazon to say that it hasn't

Yes, it has both warm and cool white option.
I am interested in these spotlights to go into a window box but need to know that it will fit. What is the length of the spike please? Also, please give the height of the light from its base, ie the point at which it would protrude from the surface of the soil . I also need the dimension of the diameter of the light.. Thank you.

Dimensions Height:25cm (including spike) Diameter of light head: 12cm Solar panel: 14cm x 8.5cm Also, please note that the batteries cannot charge through a window they have to be exposed in direct daylight.

There is an on/off on the light.
Can the solar panel face the opposite direction to the light? I.e. can you move the panel relative to the light so that they are at right angles to them? We want the light to face north while the panel should face south. thanks

Are the dimensions That are stated, right? because the actual light looks bigger than the panel in the picture, but according to the dimensions, the light is only 4cm
