It has a 110 degree detection range, which means it will activate when detecting movement somewhat offcentre.
How long does this product last?The other solar lights ive purchased in the past dont seem to have a long life.

Depends on the light and where it is positoon and how it is lookedafter, we usually say between 3-5 years, however some lights have lasted much longer.

HI Marilyn, The angel of the light is not possible to be adjusted
In the instructions it says "push and hold the light switch" there is no switch... there is a power symbol but it doesn't do anything

Hi, the power button is immediately to the right of the PIR sensor, and is a small circular silicone button that you hold down for 3 seconds.

I am afraid not. It can only operate when motion is detected.
Hi, I am looking to purchase a solar motion security light to place in between my neighbours and my garages. The wall it would be placed on is east facing and doesn't get the sun until late afternoon and evening. Can you tell me if this light would be suitable or if not can you recommend the most appropriate light for my needs. Thank you

This light has an integrated panel. It will have to be installed on a South facing wall. Please select a unit with a remote panel that can give you some flexibility in terms of positioning the panel in a good location.
Can the detection distance be reduced from 8mts

We do not recommend this the battery is wired into the unit
will this only charge in direct sunlight or will it charge if there is plenty of daylight

As the panel is integrated we would recommend that these are exposed to as much direct sunlight as possible.
