Hello. I am afraid this will not be possible, each strip needs to run of their own individual solar panel.

Hi I see the length from the first light to the solar panel is 1.75 meters, the question I have is what is the length from the first light to the last light on the 20 meter one or is the 1.75 meter included in this 20 meters ?

Hello, The 1.75 is not included in the 20M.

These are not programmable I am afraid, they will only turn off at dawn.

Hi, We do not supply extension cables for the Edge lights.
Can I use them on top of my border edging stripes? The shape is a rectangle, will it cope with 90 degree corners? If I cut it as indicated, is it possible to attach the remaining length of LED's to the solar panel source as well as the first strip? Thank you

You would not be able to connect the remaining to the panel I am afraid. It will cope with the bend, but please make sure you measure and are hapy with the look before cutting.
How wide is the LED strip? So I can work out what size gap or channel I need to make.

We haven't had great results with solar lights to date (not yours), they really struggle in winter. Is the solar panel the same regardless of strip length and therefore a shorter strip would be more reliable year-round?

Hello. I am sorry to hear that! Each strip is made with its own specific solar panel so any size strip will work all year round as long as the solar panel is in a good south-facing position or as close as.
If I cut a 20 metre strip in half, do I need an additional solar panel to the piece I have cut?

Hi Joss, You would not be able to use the piece you have cut off. If you would like two 10m strips, the Edge lights do come in 5, 10 and 20m lengths.
If I use these lights on a set of 3 patio steps is there a way to cut a 10m strip into 3x3m strips and attach to one battery or would I need to buy 3 sets of 5m strips with 3 solar batteries?

These lights have cut marks at 165mm intervals, so you would need to measure before cutting to see whether you can achieve what yo uare hoping too with the step lighting.

3mm, the lights are decorative and therefore we aren't able to provide the lumen rating, the solar panel wattage is 4w.
If we use these to line our driveway/path and step or drive on them - can they withstand that pressure?

I would not recommend this application for the lights, please do have a look at our brick lights for this application.

Hi Paul, You can install the strip using the included transparent mounting brackets or outdoor adhesive strip.
Is the light diffused? Can it be cut to length? How is it attached to something?

The light is diffused and not pointed exactly, it can be cut to length in particular increments indicated on the light with 2 metal tabs. You can attach it using the adhesive strip on the back, or reinforce it with cable tacks.
Could you tell me how these are fixed and also if they have to be mounted in one continuous straight line, or can they bend around corners?

Hi James, The lights do have an adhesive strip to stick on to surface or wall plugs, doesnt have to be straigh lines it can bend around corenrs just not very sharp ones
Is this a solid strip or a flexible strip of lights & how do you fix it to a solid wall I.E. UNDER PLASTIC GUTTERING on PLASTIC FASCIR BOARD SOLID BRICK WALL & WHAT SIZE IS THE SOLAR PANEL.
