Hi, are these IP65? I understand that IP44 and 54 only protect from light rain and that you need IP65 to be waterproof.

Hi James, These would not be IP65. None of our festoon lights are IP65 however IP44 is weather proof
I have purchased 2 sets of these lights several years ago. After 12mo. the solar battery panels failed. I replaced them with new lights and simply exchanged the panels. Now these have also failed. Is it possible to purchase just replacement panels?

Hi Peter, IF you log into your orders and go through spare parts on the light you will be able to choose a panel by itself
Hi, I have purchased the Edinburgh usb micro LED lights (set of 10) from you. Noticed on the picture there is what looks like a thin white string/wire that goes through each lights hoop.

Hello, The total length of the cable is 6.4m, with an additional 4m between the panel and the first bulb. You may have to purchase 2 sets, however they do not connect in a daisy-chain manner.
Hi, I'm interested in the controls and the solar panel. Is the on/off switch and USB charging all part of the solar panel box? Ideally I'd like the solar panel to be up high somewhere, but to have a separate switch element that is easy to reach.

Hi Michael, thank you for your message both the charging point and the switch that adjusts brightness and turns the light on and off or located on the panel. I guess this does not sound ideal as to what you are looking for however we do have Our Advance set of 50 and our Sophia lights come with an App where you can adjust the colour as well as switch them on and off. The distance from the panel to the first bulb is 2 metres. The total length of cable 4.4 metres

Is it possible to turn these lights (or others) on before it's quite dark? On/off switch mentioned but only to turn off- is that correct?

There is an on/off switch button. However, the lights will operate only when is dark.
Are they OK to leave out in the rain.

Do these lights have soya in the wire casing. Some previous lights with black casings from you have been chewed by squirrels

As far as we know these do not contain soya.
Hi, are these lights waterproof. Our previous lights (bought elsewhere) filled up with water and didn't work.

Hi, Could you please confirm the diameter of the bulbs and that there's is a 4m length of cable to the solar panel from the first bulb? Also can I connect two sets together, or do I need to order 2 sets? Kind regards Mark

The diameter of the bulbs is approximately 8cm. The distance from the panel to the first bulb is 2 metres. I am afraid that you won't be able to connect two units in one panel.
Is the casing glass? Can replacements be purchased if one was to break? Thank you for your help. Roger

There are plastic bulbs. I am afraid that they cannot be replaced.
