Will the lights work if close to a street light?

No, these will not work if too close to a street light, as the panel will think it is daytime.
Hi - Do you have to turn these lights ON every night or do they automatically come on every night? Thanks

Hi Helen, you only turn them on once and they will automatically turn on and off at dusk till dawn
Hi, can you turn them off after a certain time? Eg have them on for the evening but then turn them off as it gets late so as not to cause lots of light pollution over night

Yes, you can switch them off as you like.

The lights need to be switched off while charging the unit.

No sor ry, there are no fixings for mounting it onto a wall. It can only staked.
Are these multicoloured solar festoon lights waterproof , so that they can be put outside ?

Yes these can be put outside and left outside all year round. If you do wish to store these at any point please remove the battery to stop the battery going completely flat in the unit.
You have stated on your FAQ that all your lights are designed to work in the UK winter, however, the ones I bought off you a couple of weeks ago hardly come on even though the solar panel has been placed south facing so it is in a place where it would receive the maximum amount of daylight hours. Please advise as we are quite disappointed with their performance. Many thanks.

Our lights work best when placed in direct sunlight, however all our lights are designed to work in the UK winter, run time will be reduced as less sunlight will be available.
Do these lights have an additional USB charging port?

The On/Off button is located on the solar panel.
Do the lights have just a battery option? Say I wanted to use them indoor and wouldn't have access to sunlight would they work or does it require sunlight to work, there is no option for just using battery?

No these are only solar powered lights
Do they have a separate solar panel or is the panel in each light? I would like these lights for under the eaves of my garden cabin - the actual bulbs will be in the shade but the panel could be on the roof, if there is one.

It really does depend on the break and where it it is. There are no hooks supplied.

Yes the bulbs are coloured during the day. The LED in the middle is white.

I am unsure what you mean, but I will try to answer. The light is alway in solar mode as it charges the rechargeable batteries via the solar panel. Hope this helps.
