Hello Can these lights be set on a timer so that they turn off automatically, or do you need to turn them on and off manually each day?

These lights will turn themselves off and have an up to 10 hour run time, so you don't need to manually turn them on/off.

Can you use these lights indoors with the solar panel placed either inside the window or outside the window with the wire running through?

We do not recommend having the panel behind glass as it will not charge sufficiently due to the UV protection on the glass. We would recommend for the lights to be used outdoors. If you want lights to use inddors we have our Lumify Range.

Regarding the length of the lights. One answer says they are 177 cm from light to light but the information on the website says they are 30 cm apart which would make them more around 240 - 260 cm from light to light. Can someone confirm please?

Hi Dave, From first light to last light is 180cm, distance between 2 lights is 20 cm, and from the last light to the panel is 2m.
