They would not provide illumination suitable for reading but would make it look very pretty.

You get 10m of lights and 2m of cable that runs back to the solar panel with no lights on. Total: 12m.
How long is the cable from the solar panel to the lights I want some lights on a north facing house so may need to position the panel quite far away.

If you can mount the panel outside this would be fine. If inside the glass can cut out a huge amount of the charge on offer and significantly reduce the performance of the lights.
These are much more expensive than other 100 bulb, 10m solar fairy lights which I have seen for around £10. What is better on these that justifys the cost, or what additional features do they have?

The power of the supplied batteries (for the 100 LED sets) is 1000mAh rechargeable batteries. There are two batteries in the unit.
I'm interested in using the 100 set as lighting in a tent. I prefer the look of the warm white. But I'm concerned they may not be as bright as the cold white. Have they been tested for lumen output? Is there a difference?

They use the same solar panel, batteries, and type of LEDs. The only difference is colour. The output is the same.
I can't see anywhere what the length of these light are - can you tell me the overall length and also the length of cable that is covered by the lights? Apologies if I have missed this detail! Thanks

There is 2m between the solar panel and the first light. There is 10m of lights: 10 lights per meter. Overall there is 12m.
