Only one of the bulbs works on the lights, prior to this the whole set were very dim, which I attributed to dim daylight conditions, the one light is very bright, Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

Would these work strung inside a solid roofed glass sided porch (North facing) ? Thank you

So long as you can get the solar panel outside and facing south (to the sun) it should be fine.
What is the total size of the led lights when on a fence?
Asked by sam on 27 Sep 2014
There is 12m of wire in total. 10m has LEDs and there is a blank 2m of wire from the first LED to the charging unit.
please could you advise whether you could use these in a cluster or do they have to be strung up (idea is to use them in a glass bowl with pebbles) ? thanks
Asked by Liz on 22 Sep 2014
We have had customers cluster these in glass bowls and vases. So long as the bowl/vase has drainage so the lights do not sit in water then you should be good!

what colour is the electric string the lights are located on. we would like it on our white veranda and dont think green string will suit?
Asked by andy waters on 17 Jun 2014
It is a green wire. This may present a problem on a white veranda unless there is a way of hiding the wire?

What is USB charging
Asked by Colin girdlestone on 18 Apr 2014
The lights come with a cable that allows you to plug the charging unit into your computer using the USB ports. This can charge your lights as a back-up when the weather is poor.

The 100 LED fairy light sets are 10m long. From the charging pack to the first LED it is 2m.
Can you tell if the whole system can be switched off and on, at will manually? (e.g when it is not wished fairy lights to be lit at night). How long can a fully charged battery keep its capacity if lights are switched off ..?
Asked by Lee on 23 Jan 2014
The fairy lights do have an on/off button so if you do not want them on you can turn them off, however with all solar products it is recommended that they are left on charge even if not in use.
Can I change the batteries when they are finished?
Asked by WAYNE on 22 Jan 2014

Asked by Ruth on 22 Jan 2014
The fairy lights do have an on/off button so if you do not want them on you can turn them off, however with all solar products it is recommended that they are left on charge even if not in use. We would recommend a full charge is carried out every 3 months if you do intend to put them away, once fully charged the battery would loose all its charge within this period (approximately 10% per week).
Does the system require sunlight to charge it, or merely daylight? ie,in overcast winter skies?
Asked by Philip on 22 Jan 2014
Everbright Fairy Lights will work right throughout the winter period. A well located panel, see here, will give up to 8 hours run time per night.
I want to wrap them around a large tree, in order to USB charge them would i need to take them off the tree each time and bring them indoors to be charged at the mains?
Asked by Sara on 22 Jan 2014
If you wanted to USB charge them you can easily disconnect the string and just take the base pack indoors to charge them. The light string can be left in position.
