Would these lights be suitable for an 8 garage compound area. Can they be angled so as not to reflect in rooms?

Asked by Tobias on 24 Jan 2014

Yes, the Evo 36 would be fine for this - it will depend on the area of the compound area as to how many you need and it may work out more cost effective to use the Evo 56. Yes, they can be angled down, to approx 25 degree's to save it shining in rooms.

Can the sensor be pointed downwards as I wish to site in a 3ft sideway over a door which is positioned halfway alang this sideway? Is there an extention lead to extend over 5 metres?

Asked by Graham on 24 Jan 2014

Yes, you can rotate the PIR so it's pointed straight down on the Evo security lights. You can daisy chain extension leads however we recommend no more then one extension lead (5m with panel as standard + 3m extension) with any one panel. If you're struggling to get the panel in a South facing location we recommend facing one panel West, purchasing a Booster Panel and facing this one East to capture the day's sun that way.

Can you please inform me if this product is Wire Less? and the distance from unit it will operate?

Asked by Harold on 24 Jan 2014

The Evo 36 has a 5m wire running between the light and the solar panel. The PIR will detect up to 15m away.
