Hello. The lights have a 7 hour timer. Charging eill depend on the location of the light and time of year.

Hello, yes you can easily take this off the screw to bring in for a USB charge.
Can the rechargeable battery be replaced ? What battery does it use please ? Available in chrome finish ? Please confirm if light uses USB type C for external charging ? Video seems to show usb c type. This is important as micro usb is history now. Thanks. Simon.

Yes the battery can be replaced. This item takes a 18650 2600mah litium battery. This item is only avaliable in anthracite grey. The light is USB C charging
So presumably then if i want to charge this light using the incl usb cable i will need to remove /slide the whole light off of the screws and then re fit when charged ? How long does it take approx to charge from flat ? Is there an indication when its fully charged... light starts off red and goes green perhaps when fully charged ? Thanks. Simon.

You will need to slide the light of to bring it inside for USB charging yes A full USB takes 4 - 6 hours There is an indicating light for charging; however, we always remcomend to leave the light for a full 4 - 6 hours to ensure the light is fully charged.
Are the batteries replaceable once they run out or do you need to buy a new unit?

Hello. Thank you for your question! You can absolutly charge just via the panel as long as the light is in a good south-facing position the light will charge up by solar alone.

I have just purchased the Grantham xl, the light doesn't seem as bright as the xl motion is there a way to change the brightness

Hi Sue, Both lights have powersaving modes, please do check that both lights are set on the same mode as eachother

Hi Pat, These light only come in warm white for now you would not be able to make any chages to the colour
