Yes, they can be purchased here . Alternatively, if you just need new batteries, they are housed in the top and can be accessed easily but unscrewing the screws in the light head.

When first received we would suggest leaving it out for 4 days in the off position to allow a full charge. After that it will just top up the batteries, so difficult to say how full they get as it depends on the days before etc.

These lamps are dusk till dawn (or until the battery runs out) and will provide a nice welcoming light for the evening. The light cannot be timed to turn off specifically at 10pm, yo ucould always switch off the light manually if you wanted to.

Hi Tim, the kodiak range only comes in white, and you can't change the LED.

When the time comes to replace the batteries just remove the whole top (everything above the white diffuser) and place it upside down on a flat surface. Remove the 4 screws from the black cover and replace with rechargeable AA batteries.

Great question, yes, the top can be positioned on top exactly as you describe. You can also angle the "flip up part" to any angle in between the 90 degree increments available by rotating the whole top on the light.

Both lights are pretty similar in terms of operation, quality, and use. The Canterbury offers a power-saving setting and the Kodiak offers the twist-twin solar panel which allows both to work in winter.

It looks the same but the fitting and hole placement is different. Very sorry. The Kodiak would be better for soaking up more sun due to the flip panel but the Canterbury has the XT power-saving top to compensate. Both have their benefits.
