Like all products on our website the rechargable battery works by charging via the suns UV rays, so the battery will re-charge via the panel during the day and the light will come on at night.

Like all of our products, the lights are under a 12 month warranty.
Does the solar panel require full sunlight to charge or will normal daylight surface?

We recommend that the panel is not shaded in anyway and will receive as much direct sunlight as possible.
Can these lights stay up all year round? Do they rust?

They are made to work all year around, they also shouldn't rust.
