Are these cool white lights or warm white

Asked by Sharon on 29 Jun 2024

Hi there, these lights are a warm white colour.

My Mayfair light whilst it shows a brilliant light when it comes on switches off after about two hours. I assumed the battery was not getting charged enough so I took it off the wall, placed it on a table in the middle of the garden where it could get the sun all day, then switched it off for two days. After switching on again it still only stays on for around two hours. Even all my poundland lights stay on for far longer. Can you suggest anything else I can try.?

Asked by Mike Bugg on 4 Oct 2023

Hi Mike, what you are doing is correct maybe just leave the light out there a little longer then 2 days we usualyl say 3 to5 days in the winter days for a booster charge. If you are still having trouble please do get in touch via email so we can help further

Hello. The Mayfair light has an integrated solar panel you will locate this at the top of the light.

What is the battery life on these lights and can they be replaced? Thanks

Asked by Sara Miles on 12 Jul 2023

Hello Sara, The average battery life for any rechargeable battery is 2-3 years, however, the batteries in this unit are replaceable.

What is the waterproof rating please.

It is IP44.

Could you please advise what Lumus is the Mayfair light. Many Thanks.

It is 60 lumens bright.

Are the bulbs changeable? Also, the product description says "A well positioned solar panel will enable this product to work in typical UK winter conditions" but what does that mean in practical terms if I position them on a north facing wall?

Asked by Simon Horton on 14 Feb 2023

The bulbs aren't changeable Im afraid, in regards to positioning your light north facing we do not advise this as your panel wont get enough charge and won't last very long so we advise positioning your light in a south-facing position.

The description says integrated solar panel , does this mean there is no separate power unit but is part of the wall light itself.? Thank you

Asked by Eileen Vose on 30 Jan 2023

So the panel is integrated on the top of the light so it comes as one unit.

do they need any batteries and are they completely weather proof

Asked by PETER GEORGE ROOCKLEY on 3 Jan 2023

They have batteries installed in them already and they are weather resistant.

Says to click on switch but there are no switches visible on the device, please advise

Asked by Michael on 21 Dec 2022

The switch is located on the bottom of the light, if you twist the bottom lid and its located there.
