Is it advisable the garden globes should be stored away over winter?

We do not advise customers to store away lights over winter. Solar lights need a little bit of charge every few days and can develop problems if stored away.
Can you supply height and width of the fitting. Thank you.

The LED isn't replaceable but this will not fail - they're generally rated to last for around 100,000 hours.
