Hi will the lights come on when it gets dark automatically or only Motion sensored? I'd like the step lit before I'm walking past it ? Thanks

Hello, The lights only come on when motion is detected.
Can they be fixed through the back for security?

Hello, yes they can be fixed, the screws are included in the box
Do the screw into the fence or just sit on the step?

Hello, Yes, it lights on both, the PIR is on one side.
These look great, are they only motion activated, or do they light the steps dusk till dawn too, as this would be far more useful and effective for my situation. Need to see step before stepping onto it.... Many thanks.
