Youa re correct Tim, it is IP44 rated.
Re. the Quasar lights, what does 'Detection up to 8m at an 180 degree angle' actually mean. I bought a pair of these specifically to hang on a wall which runs immediately parallel to a straight footpath. I thought 180 degree angle would cause detection when I was on the footpath and within the 8m range. As far as I can tell the detection angle is actually 120 degrees so that the lights do not come on until I am practically on top of them. Is this a fault?

It's a 180 degree horizontal angle, the vertical is 120.
Hi.I've had these kind of solar lights before but I would like to know how you know when the off and on button is on or off to charge them please.

the button has to be off in order to charge the light.
There's no sizes will it fit on a 100mm fence post. Thanks.
