Can these lights be stuck on rather than screwed as looking for lights on our decking and caravan don't want to d Drill into the van if I can avoid it thanks

We would not really recommend sticking them down as any adhesive product may become loose over time and the lights may then fall off the surface and crack and get damaged, which sadly wouldn't be covered under the warranty.

Following a fall by one of our carers I have to illuminate our north facing steps, mainly in winter as the last call ends by 8.30 pm. Q1. Do you think they will be sufficiently bright to pick out the steps? There is no wall to fix them to, so, Q2. Can they be free standing? The steps are 6 feet wide, so there is no risk of a trip on the lights if placed at the side.
Asked by Anthony Brown on 7 Nov 2019
We do not recommend these to be free standing as they could be kicked over or damaged or even taken if not installed as per the instructions. We also do not recommend these lights for north facing locations as the panel is inegrated.

We are looking for lights to put along our garden wall that give an ambient lights round a seating area that stay on, not motion sensor. Would these lights give a good enough light. We were looking for black ones , but these seem to be a more suitable light as the black ones you stock are motion sensor only and may be too bright ? We prefer to buy through you as the post lights we bought from you are excellent.

It's really hard to say, the Sherpa is designed for illuminating steps so could work. If you needed something brighter then please take a look at our spotlights
