The panel is built into the base of the mushroom, and will absorb UV light through the exterior shell.

yes, if you can charge them for 3-5 days in direct sunlight/south-facing location. They should be in an off position for charging before use.

That should be okay, the light won't be damaged as it is made of toughened plastic. But it is best not to, in case of an accident. They only secure with a spike that goes into the ground.
I have lost the remote for the mushroom and cactus. I can't seem to change the mode with the button (only steady colour change) I have just pre-ordered the table light, will that remote operate the other two?

There are two different colours there is the bright white and then the orangy glow of the warm white.

hi when i am finished using the light, do i have to switch it off from the button on the bottom so it can stay charging or do i switch it off using the remote?

No you don't have to turn the light of to charge, if the light is struggling to illuminate then we do recommend turning it off to charge for 3-5 days but in general use of the light there is no need to turn it off.
