FAQs: Snowdrop Solar USB Lights (Set Of 50 LEDs)

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to uninstall the lights in order to take in and recharge the battery via usb? Or do they disconnect from the panel? Previous versions I've had from you have a separate battery to recharge

Asked by Mark Starbuck on 10 Sep 2025

Hello, The panel can be disconnected so you can bring it inside to charge when needed.

How do you enable powersave mode to enable the lights to last longer when the day has been cloudy

Asked by Steve millis on 12 Feb 2024

Hello, Please hold down the settings button for 3 seconds to enter power saving mode.

If I just want white lights for most of the time, is that possible?

Asked by Graham Walker on 30 Nov 2023

Hello. With the snow drop lights, you can select a colour on the remote you would like and it will stay on this colour.

Can I confirm that all your products have solar panels that can be disconnected and bought inside to charge with a USB cable.

Asked by Suzanne McLean on 28 Nov 2023

It really does depend on the lights. The Snowdrop can be charged by USB, but products such as our Elan lights etc do not, So I would recommend throughly reading the description of the lights and watching the videos and reading the isntructions.

Can the lights be programmed to be on during the day rather than at night?

Asked by Brenda Owen on 3 Dec 2022

Hello. The lights will only work when it gets dark however if you did want to use them indoors you would just need to charge them by a USB C cable and turn the panel upside down into thinking it was dark!

Sorry, I think I sent the wrong sizes in my previous question. Add atmosphere to any outdoor space quickly and easily with these eco-friendly Snowdrop Colour Changing Solar USB Lights. This stunning set of 50 bead lights on a 5m string are designed to work using solar power alone, but they can also be charged quickly via USB. The Snowdrop's 1cm colour-changing LED beads are spaced 10cm apart on a 6.8m cable which includes 1.9m between the solar panel and first bead. What is the actual length of the wire. I have a large perimeter in my garden and would therefore like a long wired lighting solar bulb system.

Asked by M Davidson on 19 Nov 2022

Hi There! I can confirm including the panel to the first bead from the first bead to the last bead the total string length is 8.7M!
