Answer:
Hello, when you first recieve the light we recomend to leave the unit outside in the off position for 3 - 5 days and then you can leave it in the on position and the light will continue to charge in the day and iluminate at night.

For the first initial charge, please leave in a bright spot for 3 - 5 days.
The o/off switch is on the solar panel.
