The diameter is 115mm. As long as it can fit and you can secure the light with the screws provided, that would be safe.

We do not recommend that, but you could possibly use the stake to keep the lights securely in place.
Can these be turned off easily? Without unscrewing from decking?

Yes, you would just need to tap the light until it turned off.

The on/off button is underneath the light.
I want these for artificial grass do I need to put holes in grass as I just want to put them on top if possible just sit them on top .

You could possibly just place the lights on the artificial grass bu these units come with a spike and a screw pack.

The height of the Tap Dance is 3.5 cm

Not for lights as these are designed to sit on top of your decking. You will need to drill two small holes for the rawl plugs.
