The switch is on the back of the light unit.

Yes, the Zeus has an off and on switch.
Would this light work well with the typical British winter conditions? Do you have any similar lights that are also suitable to be mains, usb charged ? With thanks, Gloria

All our lights are designed for the UK. Motion activated lights will be brighter or last longer and winter days due to only triggering on motion. We only offer lumify fairy lights with USB backup and don't do any mains lights.
Can the light be turned to shine directly upwards with the spike in the ground ( I want to use it to illuminate up inside an obelisk)? Can the Solar cell be supplied with a bracket to fix it onto the side of (for instance) the timber frame of an obelisk?

Yes the light head can point directly upwards, we would recommend detaching panel if you need the light in this position. The panel only come with a stake mount. I'd suggest looking a the Albany solar spotlight

The zeus will stay on until the batteries run flat or it's light again.
