Hello Ann. Yes you can, the Jour lights have 3 brightness settings which are as follows: 1st press 100%, 2nd press 50%, 3rd press 25% and the 4th press will be off.

I bought this as I needed a lamp for my desk so that I didn't have to keep putting the main lights on and also because it didn't have to be plugged in as I have very few switches. It is excellent, turns itself on when it gets dark and off again. The light is bright enough to work with no other lighting. It is light weight and can be moved to another room if needed. Very happy with my purchase and will order another

I have seen this style of lamp across many sites but have been wary of purchasing as the reviews for the product or website haven't been great. I was so pleased to see it on sale at The Solar Centre as I have purchased lights from them previously and been very happy with them. So far I have only used this as a cordless lamp in my home, but will be keen to use it outside as a solar lamp in the summer. I am very pleased with the lamp, it looks stylish and has several settings of brightness too.
