We would recommend the more powerful unit: the Extreme.

I would recommend the Power Monkey Extreme for iPads. This may not be powerful enough for any long term use.

I bought it this to keep my phone/tablet charged up whilst out and about (especially when at the beach). So far I've only had it a week or so but it's doing the job. SolarCentre were great in their customer service, as the colour I'd ordered was out of stock but a reply to their email and the item was despatched that day. :)
