Theses lights are my second purchase. I have one set just outside the kitchen doors and the second now hang between the trees in the garden. They twinkle all night long and are admired by all. These lights are beautiful, not super bright but a beautiful soft vintage light which is what I wanted and they look fabulous. I did have an issue with one set, the solar panel was faulty, I spoke to Elizabeth in customer services and the problem was sorted quickly and a new panel is on the way .. Initially charged with USB , took about 3-4 hours and they were ready to go..it has to be quite dark before they switch on altho this can be overriden if required by covering the solar panel, very happy with them and happy to give 5 stars as the problematic solar panel was dealt with very quickly.

Maybe reviewing solar lights in December isn't entirely fair - but I don't think these are nearly as effective as other lights I've had from the Solar Centre. Even with a battery fully charged via the USB connection and in "energy saving" mode they don't last more than a few hours, and the full power setting doesn't seem to me to be anything like as bright as a mains powered light.
