I have had many sets of solar lights over the years and they were all underwhelming. They were either so dull that the beam didn't reach anything, lasted until winter and then didn't work again, were nothing like what was advertised or the cables were so short that they all sat in one area. When these lights arrived I was surprised how large the box was. Inside, the lights were weighty, the solar panel large and the whole kit extremely well manufactured. I took the option of using the USB charger to make the initial charge, which didn't take long at all. I installed them three weeks ago and we have had overcast/rainy weather since then and they are still going strong on power saving mode. (Full power is as bright as the mains lights I have my Christmas tree and the drop to power saving is practically unnoticeable. These are, without doubt the best solar lights I have purchased and, given the construction standards, I'm hopeful they will last well. You may find cheaper but you won't find better, and you'll probably have to replace the cheap ones sooner as I have. Highly recommended. I'm going to check out the spotlights now!

0 | 0 I am writing this second review as I now have four sets of lights from the Solar Centre. This 1000 string of lights is outstanding. I charged it once before using for the first time and have relied on solar power ever since. They have been running for 8 hours every night for 3 months in power saving mode on the cool white setting. These are the very best solar lights that I have ever found. Definitely worth the money.

9 | 2 I am absolutely delighted with the 1000 light set, 100 meters and a good size solar panel. Plus the cables which enable the correct position in the garden. This is my fourth purchase and so far absolutely everything has been superb. I charged the lights on arrival and having installed them using the power saving mode they have been self charging with the solar panel ever since. This has been four weeks so far for this set. I definitely recommend this set.
