Have bought quite a few of these over the years and replaced some of the older ones and these are a new design with usb charging if necessary and brighter light. I have bought quite a few solar lights from company over the years and always been very pleased with their products and their customer service!

One of them had a dodgy switch so I sent an email explaining and had quick email chat with Nicole and a week later I have a replacement top delivered. 3 | 1 Bought these in the height of summer 2022. 2 of them have been working flawlessly throughout and still continue to work in dim light for a few hours. (In the summer they have no trouble staying on all night) whereas the other 2 units I have stopped working within a week. Pretty much positioned the same as the ‘working' lights so that's not the issue. 2 unit tops were replaced last week after contacting customer service and all seems to be working well now!

Lights installed at end of september so yet to see them working on a full charge in bright mode but very pleased with the performance and quality so far. Also after managing to break one of the ground spikes when installing the lights I contacted customer service and was immediately sent a free of charge replacement ground spike with no quibbles. Very satisfied.

2 | 0 I have bought loads of these lights over the years - the stainless steel and white plastic light sections still look brand new. They produce lots of bright light. I have replaced a number of the tops which are inexpensive. There are lots of slightly cheaper plastic lights available elsewhere. But they are a complete waste of money.

They provide sufficient illumination to see my way to and from my garden shed, but not enough to disturb the wildlife. Can't fault the service or the lights but have only had them a few weeks so Can't say how long they may last. Ever the optimist!

2 | 1 I was very pleased with the quality of the lights. The soft glow is just what I wanted for my small garden. I haven't stayed up late enough to see how long they stay alight! One of the tops was faulty and worked intermittently. One was faulty, only working intermittently (dodgy connection), but after a contacting customer service,, I received a replacement very quickly. Very good customer service!

They do wear out after a long time, years in fact, but these latest ones can be equipped with just replacement tops...battery included...or you can fit replacement rechargeable batteries when needed! I have just received my latest order of another 4! I love these lights...I live in the country......no electricity outside.....these chaps just sit amongst your borders by daylight and then light up as dusk arrives...usually on till at least 4-5am! I'm having new gutters and downpipes fitted soon and Ive already bought 4 ‘gutter lights' to be fitted once the works been done. The side of my house has south access for charging....but is a dark alley at night...hence the gutter lights! I never buy Solar from anybody other than the Solar Centre! Derek

Just one thing - the leaflet reminds you to take off the protective film on the solar panels. We spent some time trying to do this, before concluding there wasn't any! If it is there, it hasn't detracted from the efficiency of the lights at all. They are bright even after a very dull day.

2 | 0 After a burglary, I was told that the best thing (other than a new alarm) was to add plenty of light around the back of the house. Not really being able to run cables without damaging my patio and garden, I tried these and wasn't expecting much, but wanted a quick fix. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised. I teamed 8 of these up with 2 blulite security lights. These give a nice, not in your face, light so you can see clearly without being dazzled. The 2 blulites are fantastic as security lights, so between the 2 products I have a nice constant level of light all night and a bright see everything light when needed. Completely surpassed all expectations. Only recent purchased, so fingers crossed for longevity, but they seem well made.

I was dubious about this as I could not see one! As it was the weekend I could not get in touch with the Solar Centre. On doing so on the Monday I was told to ignore the instructions and charge the lights! This I am doing. All other lights we have had from this firm are good and I expect these to be the same. Just a shame about a wrong instruction! Hence the 4 not 5 stars

3 | 0 I have been looking for a quality set of solar lights for the stairs at the front of my house for about 3 years and finally came across the Solar Centre. These lights are small yet powerful on both settings. Powersave omits enough light to see where you are going and the standard setting is bright. I didn't think I'd ever find such a great set of solar lights but these are now illuminating both my front and back garden stairs safely, efficiently and reliably. I set them up in March and they have been working perfectly ever since, after initial charging. They go well with the PIR Kodiak post lights . Thoroughly recommend products and company. Great quality.

But couple of drops from glue gun solved the problem. On power save mode they last the hole night even with little sunlite like in February. Whould but then again.

They aren't so pretty (rather clinical looking and we joked that it made our drive look like a mini landing strip!) and I did debate over buying them initially but there wasn't an alternative at the time that would have done the job. Good that you can replace just the tops if required - hope it won't be necessary for years! We use them to light up the edges of garden steps - light is not bright but the glow is sufficient to stop us falling down the steps in the dark. Full marks to the Solar Centre for this product.

4 | 1 I had the bigger.version of the London solar post lights before this order. They lasted for four years and the brightness is the best I've seen for the price. The set of 4 minis arrived promptly and assembly couldn't be easier. There seems to have been some improvements in design since he last order I had. Sadly one was faulty but the company have agreed to send out another solar panel unit straight away. so I'm satisfied. My only slight niggle is that the wiring / construction could be a bit more sturdy, then they would last for even longer in our harsh winter seasons.

The only gripe I have is with the switch, it is not positive enough, and you have to fiddle around with it in order to get the light to stay on. Other than that, the initial review is for 4 stars. As in a few other reviews the light switch is fiddly when you turn them on and some have switched off again. If they stay on they look great . Stake seems airtight and sturdy will have to see over time , I have had issues with other solar lights filling up with ants .nice and bright at night which is what I wanted .

The only tip I would give when trying to get them into harder ground is to do a little preparatory hole to prevent obstruction of the spikes the lights sit on. Used a long screwdriver!! I ordered these as they are made for UK use and I'm hoping they will last a bit longer than previous solar lights I've bought recently. I think that living near the coast takes its toll on solar lights with the stakes and innards rusting quickly. I contacted the Solar Centre before buying more to discuss their suitability and whether I should leave them out all winter. They were very helpful. And, for those of you wondering whether you should bring them inside during winter, in my situation the answer was yes.

Even in the winter they can last all night (you get the option to switch to a winter mode where they put out slightly less light but work for longer). They are extremely bright and do a fantastic job of lighting the bottom end of the garden. I would definitely recommend them, and also the company. I had an issue with one of the lights and it was resolved very quickly. Their customer service is excellent. Am moving house soon and will definitely be purchasing more lights.

We still have some of the cheaper lights you find in the supermarkets and garden centres but they rarely last more than a year, even though all our lights are bought in and stored for the winter months. Decided to get another set of the Mini Londons as they do last well and are much more reliable. The light output is so much better too - bright white (even on the power saving setting) compared to the cheap lights' dull yellow. What's really good too is that if a top fails, it can be replaced.

5 | 0 We have wasted so much money over the years trying to find solar lights for round the edge of the lawn, & all of them have 1 or 2 that don't come on at all, come on so dimly you can hardly see them, have a supposedly rechargeable battery that just doesn't, only last a few weeks, or a combination of these.. The Solar Centre Mini post lights work brilliantly, and look really elegant. The Live Chat (I spoke with Suzie) facility was more than helpful also. I bought 3 sets of the Mini London Post for my husband for Fathers' Day, & he's so impressed that he wants some more for his birthday. They really are lovely!

I have many other sets of solar lights purchased from you because so far I haven't found anything that matches the quality. I have bought a lot of solar lights in the past which have given up after a short time. My daughter thinks I'm a solar light addict. I would recommend these to anyone who wants solar lights in their garden and yourselves as the suppliers because your customer service is fantastic. I especially like the the fact that as and when the light unit fails, which judging by previous items I have purchased will be some years away you don't have to buy a complete new bunch of lights you can simply purchase a new light unit that fits on the top of the light. 4 | 0 What a find! These lights have been excellent. Originally purchased two sets of four, and have recently bought another set for the front garden. The design is sleek and minimalist, and the smaller size is great for edging a planted bed. These look a lot more expensive than they are (some more expensive lights I've found can just look plasticky and "cheap"), and setup is a doddle - literally flick a switch and stick them in the ground. The light is very bright (impressively so from the teeny single LED light inside). Even in overcast conditions they seem to charge themselves enough each day. Definitely recommend.

Brighter setting lasts about half the time depending on how bright it was during the day. Only been using the lights for 2 weeks but the guaranteed replacement if any fail is reassuring. Good value and would recommend them.

4 | 0 I buoght an original set of these around 18 months ago. They look great and work well. However, all 4 lights have faded on the solar panel, so don't look as crisp as they did from new - probably just due to being out in the elemtents all this time. This didn't seem to affect the lights until one stopped working altogether. However, given the price and the style, I decided to buy 4 more (and can use the other 3 as spares - cheaper to buy 4 complete lights than risk having to replace the tops one at a time, which you can replace seperately from the website). Hopefully the remaining 3 old lights will last a little longer. The internals of the light have also changed, so hopefully the new one will last longer too - it's also slightly brighter on the low power mode than the old ones, but I'm only really aware of that because I know it's new - it's not a massive difference to the untrained eye). Would I like these to last longer ...Yes undoubtedly, but for the price still a very smart light that works well.

4 | 0 Just received my second set of Mini London Solar Post lights. So impressed with the first set so I decided to buy more. They are still on in the early hours of the morning. My neighbour thought they were running on electricity! They really are a lovely addition to the garden. One of them is now quite shaded due to summer foliage growing all around it and it is still shining away with the rest of them! They look really good during the day too and you can replace the top part too (or just switch them around to receive more light instead of moving whole post if one or two are nit getting enough light). Personally i have found these work even without full sun.

4 | 0 Having just spent time and money improving my garden, I was after some lights to go around the new flower bed area at the bottom of my south west facing garden which is slightly shaded by fencing at the side of the garden. I was going to hard wire lights in but this was coming in at a cost. Having seen these lights online and read the numerous positive reviews, I decided to purchase some. Delivery was quick, securely packaged and set them up in the garden at 1400 hours which was very simple. As dusk approached by 2030 hours, all 4 lights were on. I decided to go for the brighter option switch instead of the eco setting as it did give more light and a look better in my opinion. I have to get up early in the morning and at 0300, 2 of the 4 lights were still alight, with the 2 which weren't being in a slightly shader area of the garden so probably didn't charge up as much. Near 2 weeks on and all lights working perfectly, look stunning both during the day and at night and certainly worth paying more for than one might from a local supermarket. Overall, definitely a good buy and I would certainly recommend from my 2 weeks experience with them.

I have proper mains powered lights I use to reflect off the brick walls. They are not this bright. I use the solar lights to provide low level illumination for the meandering path i have in the middle of the garden. It works to pick out the outline of the path. Pretty.

The product is reasonably solid and well-made, unlike other cheaper versions I had seen in store. The design is simple and modern-- more fitting for a sleek, contemporary garden, perhaps, than a traditional landscape. I installed them in a sunny, South-facing garden in the South West of France and they charged in a matter of hours -- enough to work to full capacity the very first night. I wouldn't say they are as bright as other reviews suggest, but they give enough light adequately to illuminate the edges of a garden path. I would describe the quality of light as 'pure white' -- not particularly warm, but also not cold steely blue white. As a novice, this website inspired confidence and gave me the impression I was purchasing from the best. If you feel the same, trust your instincts!

4 | 0 When I first opened the box not all the lights lit up when I turned them on - only 1. I put them outside & after a day in the sunshine they are all working fine. I don't know if that is usual but when I had bought the bigger lights before I did not have this problem

5 | 1 Super fast delivery. Clear instructions and securely packaged. I kept the lights switched off for 5 days as the weather was dreadful. Now fully charged the lights are fantastic. So glad I bought two sets. I would have no hesitation in recommending the company and the lights.

4 | 0 3rd different product purchased once again they look much more expensive than the cost. Due to holidays I emailed them to delay delivery, immediate response. This is one of the best internet companies I have dealt with, and have recommended them to many.
