Shimmer Eclipse 30
Reviewed on 18 Jun 2023
This is the first time I have chosen to use Solar lighting in a garden ( new home ), with some 10 fence panels around 2 sides of the garden with the ugly side facing. So I went for 5 Shrewsbury fittings and 3 Shimmer Eclipse 30, all very easily fitted on the top cross timber beam. I found the secret was to leave all the Lights Off in the sun for 4 days to get fully charged, They look stunning and something completely different around the garden, even set on the low light setting rather than full brightness setting ( put on full brightness if sitting outside at dusk). Have checked my cctv several times and could see the lights still on at 4am so that's a good 6 hrs in June. It took a little while for our little Bichon dog to get use to them π, certainly didn't like the one in Red, but happy with blue, yellow and green colours, bless him. The other very positive I found with the Solar centre help line was one of the Shimmer fittings was only lasting 1 hr then it totally failed after verifying all the help tips from them they sent a replacement very promptly which is working brilliantly. Would hesitate to recommend them to anybody wanting to use Solar lighting as long as it's in a sunny area. Guess as previously stated will probably have to put away for the winter..
