Beautiful traditional style gas lantern powered by Solar power. The lanterns come fitted with one AA rechargeable batteries at the lantern base. Nice size lanterns that come assembled and just need to be charged outside in the sunlight for a few hours. The lanterns switch on automatically and give a realistic fire effect flicker inside the lantern shade. These lantern are top quality and I highly recommend them.

Solar traditional gas lanterns Verified Purchase
Purchased 2 of these so 4 lanterns and placed in north facing garden in the least sunny location and they still work well in the evening. They may well be brighter in a sunny location but I have them near my hot tub and they provide a really nice flickering ambiance. Highly recommended.

Out of darkness cometh light Verified Purchase
These are a real treat if you're looking for ornamental and prop style lighting. We have a pirate styled bar seating in our garden and wanted to keep this space dark, but usable. We used a combination of lighting from the Solar Centre. These have a yellow glow, are dim but theatrical, they work perfectly for our needs. I love them as they are, but would suggest some kind of setting or dimming on future models. it would be nice to have a choice in making them brighter than they currently are but dimming to how they are now.
